Louie is 60. I wonder if he is going to run against cornpone for spinator from Texas?

It isn’t worth being a registered republican anymore. Their establishment is a bunch of losers and not even pretender conservatives. Jefferson must be turning in his grave.

Do not defund Obamacare.

The GOP needs to pass their own version.

Then REPLACE IT.

>>>The Republican party is currently in the middle of a civil war of sorts, between moderate Republicans leery of tactics like defunding Obamacare and tea party conservatives sticking to their guns...

I predicted this before the 2012 election...that if Romney lost there would be a civil war in the GOP. What I was wrong about was how long it took. I expected it to begin in earnest immediately. Surprised its taken this long.

Good for him, good for us, good for the US.

3rd party from our internal civil war? Maybe. It is scary though because knowing it’s necessary but the outcome is highly probable to deliver victory for Hillary is frightening. Rush is right on that, the math doesn’t work and nothing other than hope itself can convince me it would get enough votes. There are low info voters on the R side who would simply vote R also, and, open primaries to damage us, too.

Gohmert has the guts to unload on McCain. Now you watch, one of those GOP elitists will say Gohmert was not acting in the right spirit to publicly get personal.

Senator McCain, spread you fingers. Now stick out your tongue. That’s it. Hold it. It’s your new look.

The vehement feelings from some in the GOP along with Britt Hume and Karl Rove about the Tea Party has me scratching my head...the Tea Party stands firmly for the United States Constitution and less government. This seems to upset people like those mentioned...Why? My guess is that McCain, Rove etc. are more Socialist than thought...you would think those august minds would be outraged at the pettiness of Obama’s court towards our Military....that McCain would have taken to the floor over the Pelosi gathering of illegals and their sponsors on the Capital Mall while Americans were being turned away from their monuments there and across the nation. I am outraged McCain etc. was not.

Civil War is on. In the short term it will delight out opponents and harm the Republican Party. In the long game it will lead to a strong party that stands over the corpse of those who simply could not fathom the harm to the country of crossing over the aisle to support the eradication of our constitution.

McCain has been taking (nasty verbal) shots at Cruz, Lee, etc. - about time somebody ‘fired’ back.

McCain has been taking the Democrat side since 2000 when George W. Bush block his presidential aspirations and he took it personally. I still contend that the GOP-e cut a deal with McCain in 2004 that he could be the nominee in 2008 if he would just stop trashing Bush during the 2004 campaign.

Usually, the reigning president is a big campaign asset during a presidential run and GWB was nowhere to be found in 2008 and McCain didn’t want him anywhere near him anyway. None of Bush’s minions from Cheney on down lifted a finger for McCain. It was the biggest “stand down” I’d ever seen of an outgoing president’s administration.

Yet the GOP-e was clearing McCain’s path to the nomination as if he was owed it.

We had the chance to knock him off at the knees the last time with a credible primary candidate and all many could do was jump to McCain’s defense and trash someone who would be far more conservative than this fraud.
