Whatever you do, never trot out a Spencer Tracy or Katherine Hepburn movie.
Both were so liberal I almost puke watching their trash.

On the list of my top five favorite movies is "Northwest Passage" with Spencer Tracy. Ideology aside, Tracy was a unique and versatile actor whose films hardly ever were a disappointment.

You might give Tracy/Hepburns “Keeper of the Flame” a try. The ending will pleasantly surprise you, and it was strikingly prescient.

Oh, I think you’ll like Tracy in “Bad Day At Black Rock.”

Yet, ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner’ is a case study of when liberal hypocracy must be faced on the home front.
They are oh so very progressive and modern in their attitudes regarding negroes - untill their daughter says she wants to marry one.
