If there was any doubt surrounding Megyn Kelly’s success when she returned from maternity leave, her performance so far this week has put all the haters to shame!
On her premiere night, Megyn had Senator Ted Cruz as a guest and did great in ratings. But what’s even more impressive is how she did even better in the ratings on her second night doing the show.
In her second night on Fox News’ new primetime lineup, Megyn Kelly clocked the highest adults 25-54 rating across all of cable news, building on her Bill O’Reilly lead-in. Kelly averaged 623,000 demo viewers and 2.8 million viewers overall — and did it without Sen. Ted Cruz, her premiere-night big “get.” Compared to her maiden voyage in primetime the previous night Kelly’s show jumped 116% in the demo and 34% in overall audience. In so doing, she beat CNN’s Piers Morgan and MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow combined — in both metrics. Morgan logged 590,000 viewers, 169,000 of them in the demo; Maddow logged 1.1 million viewers, 291,000 in the demo.
The O’Reilly lead in has certainly been helpful for getting viewers initially, but obviously people are liking Ms. Kelly’s show enough to stick around. The new lineup for Fox seems to be working for them and viewers seem to be happy with the choice of new primetime queen!

For crying out loud, she is just another narcissistic liberal bottle blonde bubblehead - a dime a dozen on Faux News. Unwatchable hereabouts.
I can’t say I’m crazy about her, but it’s nice to not see Shep on at 7.
I haven’t watched but I heard she has turned decidedly left so I know I never will.
I don't like Megyn Kelley, but I guess she's better than Couric.

I have watched FOX twice after the revamp. It SUCKS!

Megyn? Can’t see what all the fuss is- she’s really not that hot - all makeup, and full of herself. Think her ego is as big as O’Reilly’s - or soon will be.
I guess I’ve been out of the loop for some time now since I no longer have cable. I didn’t even know she was pregnant!
She is an anomaly, an attractive female liberal. But liberal she is....Amy doubts find a video of her positively giddy the night Hussein stole the 2012 election.
I was disappointed with Kelly’s performance and line ups this week. I haven’t made it all the way through any of her shows.
And her wardrobe on night one was distracting. Who does she think she is? Madame du Pompadour? I’m sure the men enjoyed the view down her neckline, but it was embarrassing to see her trying to discuss serious news in such a get up.
She looked better tonight, but the bare arms are unseasonal, to say the least.
All I can remember is the deer in the headlight look the night Obama was re-elected. That was probably the last time I will have watched her.
