If there was any doubt surrounding Megyn Kellys success when she returned from maternity leave, her performance so far this week has put all the haters to shame!
On her premiere night, Megyn had Senator Ted Cruz as a guest and did great in ratings. But whats even more impressive is how she did even better in the ratings on her second night doing the show.
In her second night on Fox News new primetime lineup, Megyn Kelly clocked the highest adults 25-54 rating across all of cable news, building on her Bill OReilly lead-in. Kelly averaged 623,000 demo viewers and 2.8 million viewers overall and did it without Sen. Ted Cruz, her premiere-night big get. Compared to her maiden voyage in primetime the previous night Kellys show jumped 116% in the demo and 34% in overall audience. In so doing, she beat CNNs Piers Morgan and MSNBCs Rachel Maddow combined in both metrics. Morgan logged 590,000 viewers, 169,000 of them in the demo; Maddow logged 1.1 million viewers, 291,000 in the demo.
The OReilly lead in has certainly been helpful for getting viewers initially, but obviously people are liking Ms. Kellys show enough to stick around. The new lineup for Fox seems to be working for them and viewers seem to be happy with the choice of new primetime queen!
I think she’s great. Smart. Quick. Gutsy. She’s the smartest person on TV.
"...the right of the people to keep and bare arms shall not be infringed."
She hasn't got anything above her shoulders so we might have to bear with her, in season or not!
You’ve got to love Megan, she’s beautiful, liked her more with the longer hair, maybe she thinks she is more mature now.
That is the precise point when I stopped watching Fox News.
Megyn is going to kick ass and take names, and topics from her show will be posted and discussed frequently on FR. So haters, go on an hate. The millions of us who don’t care about your opinion of her will be happy to ignore the hate.
Greta's voice gets on my nerves. I don't want to hear flipping "talking points" all night.
And....get off my lawn.

I wonder how Hannity is doing at 10pm in the ratings??
I swear, there are a few comments on here that make me think that the commenters are frequent “visitors” over at the DUmp.
Have not watched since the revamp. Not interested in Kelly’s liberal slant.
I agree. Megyn is the smartest and best host on Fox. Greta is also good.
I'm so old I remember when...
The Music Television channel showed music videos...
The Science Fiction Channel showed science fiction...
Cable News Network aired news...
The History Channel showed historical events...
Hannity’s ratings about the same as his nine o’clock slot; perhaps a bit lower.
Monday night: studio audience type format. A gaggle of libs shouting over the not so libs. Strike one.
Tuesday night: An interview with Mittens. Who cares? Strike two.
Wednesday night: The Weinerman. Unwatchable. Strike three.
Hannity was hard to watch before. Too tedious. I'm done.
And we LIKED it that way!

Let them run concurrently; pictue 'n picture.....so we can get it over with already!
The takeaway from this thread is most people think she is a liberal ass hat but some people are in love anyways
If I could hold a coherent thought together for 1/10th of the time Ms. Kelly does, I’d be ecstatic. I think she’s great! That being said, it would be so cool if she backed off of some of that make-up. Why do these newsgals put so much chemical crud on their beautiful faces? Are they forced to look that way from the higher-ups? Sort of like mannequins or beauticians or hooters?
That’s your take away. Don’t presume to think for the rest of us.
I watched a bit of the show because she was going to talk about the truckers it was only about 2 seconds. Then she had on 2 ladies talking about using sex in ads for sports. It just seemed like the same formula as O”Reilys show and it just seems a bit much.
