Megan Kelly is off to a rocky start, pulling Fox hard to left, challenging Senator Ted Cruz in much the same way Candy Crowley did at CNN. So far she has quoted polls by Politico and PPP.
Pulled?? Anyone who believes Fox already wasn’t there is delusional.
In all honestly, I don’t lose any sleep over what or who she is. It’s really all about ratings and selling commericial time. On the other hand, I would hope conservatives aren’t like liberals in that our ears can’t tolerate hearing anything except what we already agree with. I don’t care for liberals maskng themselves as moderates, but I don’t object to liberals being who they are at all. Provides us with a clear target for rebuttal.
I will rarely be watching Kelly. A news channel should have a PM news show. Not all shout-format shows.
I will miss the Fox Report Across America, Around the World, Cool Critters, etc, segments.
Roger Ailes will not fire Megyn Kelly or anybody else that buys into Ailes’ interpretation of what is a “fair and balanced debate.”
Megyn has been trained to be as “Rude and dismissive” as O’Reily, as “Interrupt and change the topic” as Greta, and as “Never let a guest finish an opinion” as Cavoto.
To Roger the Ailing, “balanced” means taking the devil’s advocate position to whatever the guest’s opinion is.
I don’t give a furry rat’s behind what the “Devil’s Advocate position” is on ANY topic!
I try to gain a better understanding of what the GUEST’S opinion is.
Roger Ailes has his puppets so well trained that once a guest starts to clarify an important opinion held by the guest, Ailes has his puppets talk rudely and very loudly over the top of them, AND change the topic at the same time.
The question I have for Ailes is as follows: “Why do you have any guests come on your various shows?”
It would save a lot of air time for us high-information viewers to not have to mash the “mute” button when the Fox “Star” opens their yap.
Not having any guests on their shows would allow rude and low-information Fox program stars to compete directly with the MSNBC rude and low-information stars such as Iconic Chrissy Matthews, and Larry McDonnell.
BTW, the final con that Roger the Ailing has his puppets say at the end of their painful shows is: “That’s all the time we have, my friends.”
If that is the way that Fox wants to treat their guests, and then pretend that having done so that they consider us to be their “friends” is at variance with my concept of friendship behavior by example.

I always thought she was pretty, but never ever liked her. Her manner of speaking irritated me....too fast, blunt, and just not friendly. I haven’t watched her for years and still won’t.

the real show or something. It was just awful, she comes off so extremely
phony!! I have had Fox on 24/7 hate what they have done! I never turn
the channel off trying to support the ONLY sort of conservative station
there is, but this programming is TERRIBLE!!! I am truly upset about
them moving Greta! Would rather see the re-run of Greta than the
re-run of slimy O’Rielly!

I think Ailes is good at what he does. But not perfect. I think Fox’s ratings bump will be very short and about as successful as when the GOP panders to minorities, stressing their ethnicity.

I would expect objective news and conservative commentary, she is neither a journalist in any serious capacity, nor conservative.
I go to Fox for a break from the Progressive bias and cultural slant. I’d rather watch an honest Progressive like Mika breszinski or Wolf Blitzer.

When Crowley brought up the statement Obama made about keeping a low profile as a junior senator I was really disappointed Cruz didn't knock that one out of the park. At least some comment about a low profile presidential campaign would have been funny.
Newt kicked her bony little lawyer ass up around her shoulders.
I noticed Kelly moving left for a number of months. With apologies to any lady Freepers who might see this, I thought it might be hormonal related to her pregnancy. Might take a few weeks for all that security seeking/nest building estrogen to work its way out.
You can always watch the weather channel.
Megan had the looks and the looks are running dry. There is not much else left. She is full of herself.

Fox is dead to me, but for Brett Baire (sp?) at 5 PM, and at 7 PM Greta, the only real workhorse of the whole sorry lot.
