If the GOP was smart, it would be calling for a Constitution Convention. The federal government ultimately cannot override a majority decision of the states.
Stick with it.
PEOPLE HATE OBAMACARE. EVEN MOONBATS.
Time is on our side.
Didn’t Reid recently call you a coward Boehner? So prove him wrong. ...
Would anybody really believe that Reid would “entertain discussions” after the government is fully funded? I doubt it. When Obama talks through his a$$, Reid’s lips move!
Boehner, you’re the most powerful man in the World right now. Don’t screw it up.
NUTS!
Well, the best thing that has come of this is that it seems to have given Boehner some guts to stand up the the grand-standing Reid! That alone is worth the price of the negative publicity that is always given by the MSM. He probably won’t learn that the MSM will always be negative towards the Republicans but he might become less sensitive to it! The MSM response seems to be a real threat to the Republicans in any endeaver.
Only when the MSM is against them are most of us in agreement with their position anyway...
Let's talk Fair Tax boys and girls.
Thank you, Mr. Boehner. It’s about time it was said...it’s been the elephant in the room up there in Washington all week.
The speaker understands that, regardless of what they say (including their spokes-gnome Stephenpopolous), once they get what they want they’ll s*** him, the GOP and the rest of the country like a bad Mexican dinner. They’re Democrats. It’s what they do.
What exactly is the point of this shutdown now that they’ve voted to make this a PAID vacation for non-essential federal workers? I was on board until they did that.
So we’ve got some lazy federal workers sitting at home watching tv knowing full well that Congress is going to pay them for it.
What is the point?
We shouldn’t negotiate with red diaper babies. We should prosecute them, ridicule them, or both.
The Democrats passed their communist health care without one single Republican vote, and even had to buy some votes (for example, the “Cornhusker Kickback”) and bully for others, then passed the final version into law in a sneaky manner, necessitated by the special election of Scott Brown, using the filibuster-proof “reconciliation process”.
In other words, the rats used every weapon at their disposal to force Mengelecare down America’s throat.
And now the rats and their newsroom allies are upset that a (twice: 2010 & 2012) duly-elected GOP House is using the one weapon it has at its disposal to try to undo the damage Obamacare is doing to the nation?? Gimme a freaking break. Tip of the hat to John Boehner for standing up, and likewise to the rest of the House Republicans for sucking it up and getting unified. Frankly, I’m a little surprised, but happily so.
I am not a fan of no-balls boner.
I do like the answer he gave snufalupagus.
I wish he was like this every damn day. i wish he could fight this hard and harder, every damn day. screw the media. screw obunghole. screw reid. screw pelosi.
It is past time to start boycotting Las Vegas and Reno, until those controlling those cities and casinos get rid of Reid.
Boehner and the Republican Party have to live down their years of capitulation before Reid gets the idea they ain’t gonna’ give in this time. If Boehner does give in... it’s another reason for Reid to call his bluff next time.
Boehner, be the man in this!! .... it will be easier and quicker next time.
Reminds me of teaching a child.
Reid can suck it.
