We know that most of the voters in the country are of the low information type...they believe the headlines. Let's use this to our advantage.
Use Facebook, Twitter, etc. to put out little "blurbs" mocking the government shut down and government in general.
For example, my Facebook status today is "If the government is shutdown then why is the IRS still taking taxes out of my paycheck??"
Everyone can identify with that. It makes people think...hey yeah....why ARE they doing that if it's shutdown? And that gets them thinking.
Come up with your own ideas. One or two sentences but something that the masses will read and identify with.
Mock government shutdown...let people see that it's no such thing! Win the propaganda war!
I love your plan as it is the very same thing the DimRats do to the Republicans!
How about “If government is shutdown are we still paying the pensions of millionaire Senators?”
Or “If the government is shutdown then why isn’t gas cheaper? Are they still collecting billions in gas taxes?”
Or “If the government is shutdown then how we afford to have Obama on television every single day?”
Every Vet knows what this means - lets open the memorials and take back the city

Twitter is pretty powerful. They monitor the traffic on Twitter. Using Twitter for political purposes is nearly as effective as sending an email. They really can't ignore the numbers.
I have a "fake" Facebook account that I use to harrass communists on places like the CSPAN page.
The left would love nothing more than to own social media.

Every single thing Obama says the Conservatives are doing is exactly what the progressive liberals, socialist communist are in reality DOING ALREADY.

We allowed tainted election results, Executive Orders use, and the ramming of Obamacare through as soon as possible. We have no proof he is legally qualified to be President and every single action has been for the hurt of America's citizens, and IE not allowing the oil pipeline from Canada to the Gulf of Texas. Wanting our guns, raising taxes, increasing government employees by thousands, alienating Israel intentionally. loving especially the Muslim religion and its believers, etc., etc.,

When they had the vote on cloture, I turned it to CSPAN and on Twitter, they had hashtag cspanchat if you wished to tweet something. At the bottom of the tv screen on CSPAN you could read the tweets from that chat so I began to send some sentiments out. LOL!!! I am not sure if my tweets made it live on tv or not but they did tick off some liberals because they sent me some messages calling me a teabagger taking away their healthcare. LOL! I will definitely use that in the future during live votes.
If the government is shutdown, who’s going to do the strip searches at the airports?
It’s a more quiet environment. Crime rates are down.
