Better late than never to realize it. Christ spoke a parable about workers hired at morning then at noon then late in the day because the harvest was pressing and they needed some late laborers to help finish the job. At the end, all were paid the exact same wage. Now the ones that had labored the longest complained but Christ basically told them they got what they contracted for and the important thing was the harvest. We ‘workers’ are part of that “harvest”, having been spared from sin and death and the harvest that is brought in are other lost souls. So join the fight and find renewed footing in God. You don’t have to be “religious”, be faithful to Christ!

One can also find a little lesson about the laws of supply and demand....how a shortage of needed laborers may influence an increased wage offering to alleviate the shortage of workers.
