Senate just came into session. Happily, Dingy Harry is sparing us any commentary early on this morning, as is McConnell. Debate goes until 12:10, at which time there is 30 minutes reserved for majority and minority leaders , then the vote. Will there be any more GOP intramural fireworks on the senate floor?

That’s my opinion - I can’t prove something like that.
He gets too much into the intricacies, the minutae, and thinks he’s brilliant in figuring them out and calculating the best way to do something.
So why should he accept the pleadings of his constituents?
He’s so much smarter and more informed and thoughtful than they...

I think about half of the GOP will blow it, and it will pass by a wide margin. Half of those will do it just to piss Cruz and Lee off. I’m thinking McCain, the arrogant pr**k. (I think I might have to dust off that old label.)

Dan Coats isn’t up for reelection until 2016. Regardless, he needs to be primaried. He’s a good man, but he can’t handle the fight. We need a fighter. He needs to go.

When we change the Senate leadership, I think that Lee is the guy to be the next majority leader. Cruz has national aspirations...Lee’s the guy..
I wish somebody would start using realistic language, that this bill is being forced on the American people, that these lawmakers are imposing THEIR WILL on us.
Those should be our new buzzwords, force, control, impose.
