Merciful Heavenly Father, Beloved Lord Jesus, and our Blessed Holy Spirit,
We come to you with full hearts for your servant, our “JimRob.” We place him before you as he moves into that surgical suite on Monday. We know that he loves you and is at one with you and wants only your will for his life.
We affirm our own desire for your will in all things, but we are also by scripture allowed to petition you for grace. We come to you and apply now for that grace for our JimRob. Out of our own enlightened self-interest and fondness for this one, we petition you for an extension of his good health and life span according to thy will.
We ask that you will lift up not only our JimRob, but also surround and guide all medical professionals involved in his case and treatment. Let all surgical procedures, medicines and treatments be 100% effective with no adverse side effects.
We are grateful for the work of his hands, “freerepublic.com” and we ask that you will continue to assist this work to prosper, for in large measure it has allowed many of us to find our way to being involved in being able to express and find actions for our own love of country and service to her. We are grateful for his example and his ability to create a place where we are able to discuss questions of the day in many areas of concern.
Father God, please hold the family and JimRob’s loved ones including ourselves, during his surgery and recovery in your mighty hands. Help them and us all to remain not only in the faith and comfort you have already given, but for that faith and comfort to increase according to thy will.
Bless and heal our JimRob and any and all others of your heart who may be in a similar situation of need. We unite in our prayers for your will and grace and we accept it as we know you are hearing us and answering to the very upper limits that your Great Law will allow. For we know that as our Lord Jesus said, what beloved son asking his father for bread would receive a stone from that father? It would not happen. We are your children and we do so ask and petition for the bread of grace, and we know that whatever answer we receive IS that grace.
We thank you and are grateful for your love and Presence in our lives and that you are in control of this entire situation.
