Our Dear Friend....my Jim and I and our family are praying for you that your surgery will go well and that God’s hand guide the hands of the Surgeon and the staff working with him. Also, we are praying for Sheila and the rest of your family that God will hold them close and allay any fears they might have also. May you be on the mend quickly and back to doing what you love best....Keeping us all straight and being the power ball behind FreeRepublic.com! We appreciate you and what you have given all of us over the years and that is a forum through FreeRepublic.com, so that we might speak our minds regarding what is taking place in these United States of America and to do what we can to make this Country a better place for all in which to live and raise our families to be God serving individuals! You’re losing an earthly foot, but this means nothing when you have a foot of a different kind in heaven.
Keep the perspective, and remember that neither politics nor party nor country are ends in themselves; they are instruments of God’s work. And badly flawed vessels are used to that end, just so that the glory can be clearly shown as God’s rather than man’s. There won’t be a perfect candidate on our plates and even a very good one will be well nigh impossible to find. We need to seek God’s blessings through the means that He chooses.
Thank you Jim for all you have contributed to America... USA.... each and every one of us and our communities because of the FreeRepublic forum.

Jim, after reading about your situation more thoroughly (thank you for explaining), I went to our church’s Eucharistic adoration chapel last night and prayed a rosary for you, asking first for a complete healing, as everything is possible with God. If your leg does not heal, prayers for your strength, the expertise of those working with you, and a speedy recovery, were offered. A “real” candle was lit for you too (with a flame, not a light bulb). Someone in our family has a similar condition, using the medi-honey, with mixed results. God be with you..

Thoughts and Prayers going out to Jim Robinson and his family from Ventura County, just ‘down the road a piece’ from you there up north.
We pray for the surgical team, successful surgery and recovery, necessary hospital stay, and strength to Jim, his family and friends.
I don’t pray, but you know I wish you the best. Stay strong. You’re a good man.

My heart is with you, Jim. Always remember, you, I, and others were the first TEA Party activists back in 1998. VetsCor was something else you should be proud of. I know you've done much more since, and I applaud you.
You'll be fine. Hell, with my lousy life-style nowadays, you'll probably outlive me. Har! You've been a fine example and affected many lives in such a positive way. You're on the good list, Shipmate. If you were still active Navy, I would recommend a Navy Commendation Medal for you. Since I can't, I will just sincerely thank you for your contributions to our Country.

Got on the local (very) conservative radio talk show yesterday and told everyone about this. He was very encouraging and allowed me 15 minutes to speak on FreeRepublic and Jim. He told me that he had signed on that morning, but did not see this thread and seemed a tad deveastated. So if any Freepers were listening on WOC, yeah, that was me.
