WASHINGTON Following the epic, 21-hour speech by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, supporting the defunding of Obamacare, either voters made so many calls to establishment Republicans that their phone lines melted, or those GOP leaders took their phones off the hook.
Even in this age of digital wizardry and limitless voicemail, callers could not get through at all to Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.

Gave up trying to get through to Cornyn and sent him something by his on-line form asking him how he was going to vote on the defunding and why he was not supporting Cruz.
Received an email back from him dealing with his position on immigration with this statement at the bottom of his email:
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of electronic communication, if you did not receive this e-mail directly from my office, I cannot guarantee that the text has not been altered. If you have questions about the validity of this message, or would like to respond to this message, please use the web form available at my website, http://www.cornyn.senate.gov/contact.
So according to this disclaimer, he probably responded to my request re Cruz and Obamacare but somebody altered his message! /s/
Yes, I had the very same thought. I will be coming home from work every day anxious to make more calls. I can keep this up until they need to change their phone numbers.
We need a website with phone numbers, emails, tweets, etc. of just the target senators. I don't have enough years to waste on every single moron in Washington.
When I call the Republicans I always end my call by reminding them that Cruz will be the next president so "you guys better get on the bandwagon now." They find that extremely irritating.
Every conservative with a Twitter account ought to post: "@John McCain - retire now, or switch parties, traitor!"

Lines to Cornyn’s offices in Texas are either busy, you get disconnected after you push a selection button or you are shuttled to their mailbox which is full. Even tried to send a fax this morning at 2 a.m. which said: “I’m watching Senator Cruz stand up for his constituents in Texas. Don’t see you in the audience and have not seen you supporting him in person. Why not?”
Fax line rang and rang and no answer.
Here's a website that lists all Repub Senators...with contact info and where they stand on Cloture:

Just scroll down for the info. The vulnerable Dims are Pryor (AR) and Landrieu (LA) -- both are up for reelection in 2014 in conservative states.
When Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin switch to Independent, I'll do likewise. Until then, I stand for taking back OUR party from the quisling traitors who now control it.
Come on, guys. This is a victory. We have sent a message. I bet Graham is crappin’ his shreddies.
Yep. Cornyn is incommunicado.
Couldn’t get thru to Toomey of PA. today or tonight...neither phone nor mailbox...which was full.
....
Well, I called 25 senators this morning and a lot of them were incommunicado, not even by answering machine. Everything was shut down. However, they can’t dodge the U.S. Mail. So we need a website with EVERYTHING on it.
Here’s another idea. If you can’t reach their office, you can always send a message to a newspaper in their district. Does that ever have an impact, one way or another.
Go to:
This has literally every newspaper in the U.S. including stuff like the editor’s name. Try it, it’s great!
Don’t give a damn and never will! When the people figure this out, they will be riding in plane that their supporters provided OR those provided by Government. Really ain’t that just a shame.
HELLO FOLKS...
It’s not the Repubs that need to be called, they know how upset the sheeple are about this.
WE NEED TO BE CALLING THE DEMOCRATS...
We need to be burning down THIER phne lines
You’re too nice! I consider it more of a Freak Show...and, I want a refund for my *ticket* ;)
How well were the Dems phones ringing?
Great poster!
