I hear Cruz just a few minutes ago say we have 3 senators and 3 house members.
I assume Lee is one of those senators, the other two likely being perhaps Vitter and Rubio.
I can’t imagine the other 2 House members in attendance are Dems.

Cruz is reminding the senators you can’t hand Harry Reid the vote for cloture and say you want to defund obamacare. He’s laying it out the games that they are playing.

You’re welcome. One of the real problems that I’ll have in arguing against secession is that it plainly makes a lot of sense on a lot of dimensions. It’s not something where you can just spit out a list of reasons why Texas or another state shouldn’t pick up their marbles and leave. My argument against boils down to one really big reason and a few not so big reasons.
And since I promised not to argue with Texans over secession tonite, I’m going to go to bed. God bless.
