Killing innocent babies is inherently unprincipled. Fiscal soundness is meaningless in a culture where the most basic individual right, the right to live, is disregarded for millions of victims. You put the cart before the horse. You want people who are monsters toward defenseless children to respect your right to property and the pursuit of happiness. Why should they honor your property rights when it is so easy for them to ignore the most basic rights of countless innocent children? Your view fosters the very illness about which you complain. We passed laws and eventually amendments that made slavery, which had the backing under the law, go away. Many slave holders were financially hurt; too f’n bad then and if obamination goes away and some have to regroup, again, too f’n bad.

He’s looking at 2016. If Cruz goes down in flames over defunding, Rand looks like the conservative who is not too far out there. I think he’s miscalculating, but I’m guessing that’s his thinking.

If Senator Rand Paul really belongs to the “Always surrender before you fight” RINO School of thought, then his weak support and vote against Abolishing Obamacare this coming week will end his future in the New Republican Party, (NRP).
That’s exactly the way I understand it.
There’s several thread titles ragging on Rand Paul that blame him for saying nothing different from what our guy Cruz has said, or Lee, on this CR deal. The three of them together have been leaning hard on both the Left and the GOPE. That squealing we hear is music to my ears.
My complaint was meant to address the erroneous interpretations popping up that Rand Paul is betraying the cause in progress, for defunding.
These three guys; Lee, Cruz and Paul, will part company soon enough if they compete for the nomination, but right now they’re tight, and are separately and together, a force to be reckoned with.
