Speaking at a Ford auto plant in Missouri, the president compared the debt-ceiling debate to a consumer loan on a new Ford F150 truck.
“This is important,” Mr. Obama said. “Raising the debt ceiling is not the same as approving more spending.
Plowing ahead, Mr. Obama said, “I — you don’t say, well, I’m not going — I’m not going to pay my — my — my bill, my note for my truck because I’m going to save money. No, you’re not saving money. You already bought the truck, right? You have to pay the bills. You — you are not — you’re not saving money.”
“You — you might have decided at the front end not to buy the truck,” Mr. Obama said. “But once you bought the truck, you can’t say you’re saving money just by not paying the bills. Does that make sense?”

I have come to realize the old picture of a “Turtle on the Fencepost” is tragically real in Obama’s case. Somebody, somewhere, some organization, group or cabal has meticulously engineered this zealot’s entire life, maybe even before he was born.
We won’t ever know because the proof is hidden and will never come out. The media will not allow it, the Democrats will not allow it and those who did this will not allow it.
The only thing I can say at this point, particularly reflecting back on that movie long ago, and whose choice of a lead actress was so horribly distasteful to me personally, is that ‘art must surely imitate true life’....

OK, to follow the logic of his analogy, if my family is wildly overspending our income we need to get higher spending limits on our credit cards otherwise we’re deadbeats. What an ignorant jackass.
When Obama did that, I personally buried GM as an option forever. Since then, I got rid of two Hondas and a BMW. I replaced them with a 2010 F-150 SPX and a 2012 Explorer Limited. My only comment is that I should have gone Ford much sooner. GM and any company that colludes with Obama are dead to me forever.

No Mister Dumbass it doesn’t make sense. Borrowing money to pay back a loan while buying something else with it as well, is precisely how you and others got us to where we are. I’d love to be in one of your audiences to call you out and spend some time in prison for showing the crowd how stupid you are off the teleprompter. I’m not a deadbeat you azzhole. I don’t willingly spend more than I have the ability to repay. I don’t go around spending other people’s money like it grew on trees. I don’t ignore my obligations in order to lavish taxpayer dollars on idiotic and reckless schemes.

Maybe he should say that if you have a credit card and borrow up to your credit limit, it is the credit card company's duty to raise your credit limit.
I’m so sick of this rhetoric. They’ve completely reversed the social order. We are supposed to have our representatives voting on spending priorities and producing a budget that is reviewable by we the people... the ones paying the bills. Instead, the executive and the Fed are running amok with the credit card and demanding we pay the bill!
