“The Son of God.” This name is used of Christ forty times.

“Only Begotten Son.” This occurs five times. It is evident that the statement that Jesus Christ is the Son of God in a very different sense than other men are sons of God. The Greek for only-begotten is monogenes (one of a kind, unique).

Exactly, and nobody on this thread has denied what the New Testament says directly about Jesus.
But the NT never directly says, "Jesus is God Himself", and that is the current point of debate.

Some of our posters agree that if you don't accept that, then you are a "God Damned Heretic".
I am here to request those "GDHs" be given more understanding & respect.
