I’m glad to hear you agree with the verdict.
I take every little thing I hear from the media about Zimmerman with a rather large grain of salt, including word of these latter-day “brushes with the law.” They are not indicative of Zimmerman’s attitude as much as they are about the prism through which everybody seems to view him.
As soon as I heard the wife announcing the breakup, I knew we’d be treated to months of parting shots. This is just part of it. If this were a just world, she’d be looking at legal issues of her own involving false reporting.
I do agree with the verdict. However, this incident today has allowed people who disagreed with the verdict to feel vindicated. They already believed he was guilty, and this cements it in their minds.
