LAKE MARY, Fla.
Channel 9 has learned police were called Monday to a domestic disturbance involving George Zimmerman and a gun at a home in Lake Mary.
Police were called to the scene on Sprucewood Road about 2:30 p.m. though no other details have been released.
Last week, Zimmerman's wife, Shellie Zimmerman, filed for divorce, weeks after her husband's acquittal in the killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

That's the core of Hillary's VAWA. Repeal VAWA, it's unconstitutional as hell under 5A and 14A.
I found it odd that both wife and father in law won’t press charges....even though supposedly his nose “might” broken.
I think Zimmerman is a lonely man- he can’t go anywhere, do anything- his life has been destroyed. His only hope is to change his name. But I also think he is suffering from PTSD and perhaps has a death wish to end the nightmare train ride he has been on....
I predict ...... "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."
This will turn out to be the wife's doing, hatched out as soon as she found out that there was another woman waiting in the wings for her china pattern.
No, he can move to East Texas. He will have a courteous welcome here, and nobody will be slinking around, trying to find something to put him in jail for.
Winner, winner! Chicken dinner....
In a just world, this would be very bad news for the ex-wife. She lied to the cops, and she's on Probation for Perjury.
They’ve done all they could to break this guy. He’s just an average Joe who got caught up in Obama’s and Axelrod’s reelection machinations.
I feel bad for him.
He’s not an idiot. He’s a average American. He’s not a professional spokes person, nor media savvy. He’s a guy that Axelrod and Obama picked to take the heat and regain black voters.
As Americans we should support him just because a President (note well that I didn’t mention any political party) picked his case and made it a national story for a political reason.
It’s cruel and unfair. That he’d break under the enormous pressure isn’t unusual. Most men break after 200 days in combat, even the toughest. We know nothing about Zimmerman and in his ordinariness he’s every American - a victim of an amoral political system that is insatiable and voracious.
I’ll support him, despite himself. It’s not just the American thing to do, but the Christian.
Something about her bugs me. She was quick to run to the media with her private information and her feeeeeelings. Airing dirty laundry for the whole world doesn't look good.
There aren’t any heroes out there, just ordinary people put into extraordinary situations. I thought, given the fact that he’s got a death warrant on him, Zimmerman handled it pretty well.
Now, he’s getting a divorce and those are never pretty. It’s easy for his wife to desert him and point out his weaknesses. There’s a demand for demonizing Zimmerman. She’ll be well compensated, perhaps lionized.
How much can one man take?
What you’re seeing is the Presidential power concentrated on one average Americans head. Zimmerman did the right thing in defending his life once Trayvon was on top and smashing his head into the ground. That he saved his own life simply points to the natural self interest of all men. It doesn’t make him a hero.
Obama’s treatment of him is pure evil, selfish, manipulative malevolence perpetrated for the single purpose of bringing or keeping blacks on the hook for the next election. Guilty of these new “crimes” or not, Zimmerman has been through the crucible and it could be you or me the next time.
She’s marshaling public opinion (and the family court’s too) behind her so she can really screw George over. This bugs me too, Catherine. She’s been doing it all week. This time she’s lied to the cops, so let’s see.
For that, she needs to go to jail.
I believe you’re exactly right. She’s thinking she’ll benefit in court if she can drum up some drama. Looks like she might have gone a step too far, though.
Wonder what the law is.
Let's hope. I don't have much hope, though. Floriduh courts are notoriously unjust. Somebody needs to be convinced they are being made fools of by this sow.
It’s looking like she lied to the 911 operator. But she can always say “She just thought she saw....” so she will skate, even though her attempt to paint George as sinister was deliberate.
Bottom line: She lied, again (guilty of perjury), and will get away with it.
I just looked it up. In Florida, making a false statement during a 911 call is a first degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year in jail.
Yeah, right....
Apparently this was his day to be there to clear his stuff out. She was supposed to have all of her stuff out yesterday but of course she conveniently leaves her pots and pans so she has an excuse to go to the house when George is there to rag on him some more. Given that her father is the landlord he should have known better than to take her over there on George’s day to clear his stuff out.
Given that there was no gun at the scene and Shellie and her father refused to give a statement to the police Shellie may face charges for a fraudulent 911 call.
