There aren’t any heroes out there, just ordinary people put into extraordinary situations. I thought, given the fact that he’s got a death warrant on him, Zimmerman handled it pretty well.
Now, he’s getting a divorce and those are never pretty. It’s easy for his wife to desert him and point out his weaknesses. There’s a demand for demonizing Zimmerman. She’ll be well compensated, perhaps lionized.
How much can one man take?
What you’re seeing is the Presidential power concentrated on one average Americans head. Zimmerman did the right thing in defending his life once Trayvon was on top and smashing his head into the ground. That he saved his own life simply points to the natural self interest of all men. It doesn’t make him a hero.
Obama’s treatment of him is pure evil, selfish, manipulative malevolence perpetrated for the single purpose of bringing or keeping blacks on the hook for the next election. Guilty of these new “crimes” or not, Zimmerman has been through the crucible and it could be you or me the next time.
