The same idiot politicians who thought creating Gun Free Zones would make our schools safe assumed they could stop a few million patriotic bikers from driving non-stop through Washington, D.C. by denying them a permit. As usual, the idea BACKFIRED. The bikers, from some far-away states are already on the road and they all still intend to be there but now, obeying every law, every stop light, every pedestrian, their two hour ride will last all day long.
The real patriots in America are the ones willing to put down their personal business to join in a mutual effort to pay honor and tribute to our fallen heroes. To defend our rights to liberty and freedom and to confront those who choose to demean those heroes. Today those patriots are the millions of bikers in America who express their pride in their country and in their individualism every day they ride. Today they are on their way to Washington, D.C. to set the record straight. The numbers are not yet in but it may well be that 2-million bikers from across America are about to converge on our nations capitol on the 12th anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attack to confront a Muslim group who planned to organize a march to celebrate the day other Muslims hijacked four airliners and killed thousands of Americans. The sound of millions of bikers roaring through Washington on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 will be a sound to remember.

At least they’re doing more than holding down the couch.
“I would expect many of the bike riders to be elderly kooky types who are retired (think Viet Nam vets)”. ???
Is that really what think of our Viet Nam vets? Pretty disgusting.
I don’t understand why you take this as an insult?
Marbury v. Madison
Thus, the particular phraseology of the Constitution of the United States confirms and strengthens the principle, supposed to be essential to all written Constitutions, that a law repugnant to the Constitution is void, and that courts, as well as other departments, are bound by that instrument.
Murdock Vs Pennsylvania 319 USSCR 105
No state can convert a secured liberty (right) to a privilege and issue a license and fee for it.
Not yet illegal !!
If I had the chance , I'd keep running in circles arround the block with straight pipes
wherever the march was concluding, or at the grandstand .
Hell, I didn't know I had any!
Honestly, I'm behind the curve on this topic.
They just will not report it.
Bikers Denied Permit to counter Muslim March on 9/11
Call it what you want but on 9/11/13, a Million Muslim March (MMM) has been scheduled to take place on the Washington mall. Last month, it was learned that bikers would be organizing a counter-protest and their event was billed as the 2 Million Bikers to DC rally to remember 9/11.
Unlike the MMMs, the bikers have been denied their permit. According to the groups Facebook page, it looks like theyre going anyway

I have a feeling it’s going to be the first annual ride. :-)

Weather looking good for Wednesday...sunny but HOT...low 90’s.
"We pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor."
Perhaps the time is not yet come; but, like the founders, there may come a time when patriots may be required to put their 9-to-5 jobs, reputations, and yes, even their families on the line for the sake of liberty.
And yes, those that do will be the "true" patriots.
I've modified the following, but I find it to be apropos (btw - I won't be on the ride either).
[Civil] War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war, is worse. A man who has nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance at being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
― John Stuart Mill
If the police try to ticket minor infractions, they will turn a day-long event into a week-long event, and tie up traffic everywhere.

Psssst! Read her tag line.
I think all the author is saying is that real patriotism is about making costly commitments when it counts. Years ago, I was trying to set up a Constitution Party chapter in my county, and everybody talked big, save the country, rah rah, etc., but nobody could make the time or spend a dime. If you won’t do something because it hurts too much, then fine, you made a choice. Own it. Patriots will choose to do what helps their country, even when it hurts them personally. If we don’t start seeing a lot more people in that frame of mind, turning this mess around is not going to happen. No pain, no gain.
I bet at least 1/4 of them are union....
this could become something historical...
I would anticipate they try to thin them down in surrounding states.
Lots of video too.
2 million?...no sleep for dc.
Last week a really fun and sweet thread was posted entitled “I miss America when it was Decent and Good.” A poster almost ruined it when he/she posted that “elderly kooky types” “infest FR” and “go on and on about their grandchildren and what a great president Eisenhower was.” I started a thread called “Elderly Kooky Types (VANITY)” because I took umbrage at being called an “elderly kooky type.” Although I have since decided it is a badge of honor. Hence, my updated tagline.
You can go to either thread to find out more.
LMAO..... I knew this was going to happen. I own a Harley and would love to participate in this, but it’s just too far from my house for me to make it in time....about 3000 miles. ;>)
