During a Tuesday (9/3/13) morning (apperance) on Fox News Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) took umbrage (hat tip Ben Shapiro) at Fox News host Brian Kilmeade’s disgust with Syrian anti-Assad opposition groups shouting “Allahu Akhbar! Allahu Akhbar!” when their rockets apparently shot down a Syrian jet.
To Kilmeade, appropriately, such outcries illustrated the (predominant jihadist) influence within the coalition of groups opposing the Assad regime. Kilmeade stated, (stated)
I have a problem helping those people screaming that [Allahu-Akbar!] after a hit.
A perturbed, if typically feckless McCain replied, without any basic linguistic understanding, or supportive evidence of the rocket launchers’ alleged “moderation,” by making an immoral equivalence to Christianity:
Would you have a problem with an American or Christians saying “thank God? Thank God?” That’s what they’re saying. Come on! Of course they’re Muslims, but they’re moderates and I guarantee you they are moderates.

I think about the only way McCain could actually learn, that is, to listen to someone else, would be if somehow he was associated with some offense against Islam. Nothing quite stimulates the intellect like an angry mob calling on you in particular to be beheaded.
“Oh, by the way, senator, there is an angry mob of ‘moderates’ outside that are calling for your murder.”
All it would take is some anonymous poster on a jihadi forum to say that they had observed McCain desecrating a Koran. No explanation, no evidence required.
Is there a declared competition between John McCain and Jimmy Carter to see who can be the biggest loon? It is hard to tell who is winning but clearly the nation is losing. Guys, your 15 minutes has been up for a long time now - go away and go quietly.

Any FReepers know when McLame is up for reelection? Is it 2014 or 2016? I’d love to move to AZ and run against him. Never held elective office before but all it would take is “I’m a conservative that believes in the Constitution and a limited federal government and I’m NOT John McCain” to get the attention of a good number of voters. Let the ball start rolling from there.
Juan knows what it means, but he’s so arrogant and pigheaded that he can’t bear to be called out in public, so he’ll make an even bigger fool of himself to avoid admitting how incredibly wrong he is about most everything.
McCain is not that bright ... he graduated near the bottom of his class at Annapolis. He probably would have been kicked out had it not been for the fact his father & grandfather both were Annapolis grads that went on to become Admirals. Typically someone graduating at the bottom of the class at the Naval Academy doesn't get a shot at becoming a Navy pilot, McCain was an exception. At best he was only mediocre in his role as a Naval aviator.
Mediocrity defines John McCain.
Just walk into any McCain HQ or senate office and start screaming “ALLAHU-AKBAR!”
See if they are calm, or if they dive behind their desks.

“Allahu Akhbar” = “Fire in the Hole”
For 15 years as Paralegal Liason to the Northern California Afghan Refugee Organization, I never heard that term “Allahu Akhbar” uttered anywhere.
It is a term evidently used by moslem armies in warfare as a battle cry.
