We’re there. This is 1962, and Obama is about a quarter of the President Kennedy was.

We better have some very excellent Admirals and Generals running around Pentagon City, or we are well and truly cooked.

It’s going to happen with us or without us, so you build your case on invading Iran, or just surrender now, because Saudi Arabia is next, followed by Israel.

Russia’s goal - Global petroleum hegemony. Never mind that fracking may change that. If Russia doesn’t do something now, fracking WILL change everything and Russia’s done.

Nobody wants to do business with them anyway, but Western Europe has to. At least the Saudi’s woke up to the fact that, given other options, no one wants to do business with them either, and as such, keeping oil stable and cheap was in their long term national interests.

Without oil, Russia’s influence in the world goes away, permanently.

By the end of next week, we'll be damn lucky if there isn't more iron sitting on the bottom of the Med, and oil still being exported from M.E.

All it would take would be for one of the parties to see a first strike as advantageous, or their only chance at survival (i.e., Syria).

“Will they realize the colossal mistake they made in 2008 and 2012? I doubt it, but this is the time to plant doubts in their liberal minds.”

Experiencing that now.
The rabid liberals are so convinced they cannot be wrong, they will follow this charlatan all the way to the end, never admitting they could be wrong. Hell, even Hitler had people willing to die defending his bunker, at the end.

It’s the Middle 30% that we need to be informing right now, and reminding of all the BS they were told. They won’t like it, because the TV and the Movies tell them over and over how EVIL! and stupid Conservatives and Christians are, but it will start them thinking.

I think it can happen if the metal is exposed to intense radiation and that energy causes some atoms of the metal to become temporary isotopes.......

Say, isn’t 9/11 coming up? And hasn’t that become a notable date for muzzies like hussein to do drastic things to harm western civilization?

From the beginning I was against any action in Syria. My statement was that O is way out of his league and Putin is as good politician uses O’s weakness to his advantage and it’s working big time. I would like to indicate that many senators and congress members are completely incompetent as politicians and leaders.

Nobody wants to see Hillary’s leg. That would make Putin nuke us.

His tone is apologetic at best. In my opinion he never expected this reaction not only from inside US but also from foreign countries. He is in the state of fear and panic.

I seriously doubt any other leader could have done better, in terms of preventing Putin from supporting Syria. Obama should be resisting GOP pressure to intervene in Syria, but that's got nothing to do with Putin.

“Right now Assad is winning. He’s been doing so since June.”

Assad is winning because the Kerry beloved moderates realized the foreign fighters were more dangerous than the regime, and slaughter ANYONE, given the chance.

GOP pressure? You must be joking...Most of the democratic senators voted for the intervention in Syria.

This may mean he does not proceed no matter what the votes in the Senate and House.

At least I pray.

The Nikolai Filchenkov is an Alligator-class LST. She displaces just under 5,000-tons and is capable of carrying 1,000-tons of cargo.

If I had to hazard a guess on the cargo, I'd go with a couple of batteries of SS-N-26 anti-ship missile batteries.

“Dear Leader may have given himself away.....again...not that the US press is listening”

Oh, they are listening, all right. But they aren’t allowed to say anything about it, lest they become unemployed, and kicked out of the “Cool Liberal” club.

“A Russia that is no longer broke and no drunken Yeltsin at the helm.”

With a calculating leader, that has a weak, spineless US president by the short hairs.

This is the exact scenario we have tried to avoid for 50 years.
