Ted Cruz: Number one, under no circumstances should we be arming rebels who are affiliated with al-Qaeda. And this administration has already suggested they want to arm the rebels with no reliable means of differentiating al-Qaeda from non-al-Qaeda.
And number two, our concern should be those chemical weapons, preventing them from falling into the hands of Hezbollah, preventing them from falling into the hands of al-Qaeda. That should be guiding our actions, not expressing some moral outrage from a university faculty lounge.

You know, Sean, it was striking when the protests were occurring in Egypt against the Muslim Brotherhood, that the protesters were waving banners that said President Obama supports Morsi, the United States supports the radical Islamic government that is oppressing us. What a sad state of affairs when the United States is arm and arm with oppressive Islamist governments.

Note that now Syria is on the front pages, nobody is talking about the IRS’ abuse of power of targeting conservative groups, the disaster of Obamacare, Benghazi, sequestration, the budget, etc., etc......
Looks like Obama is achieving his objective. And he’ll get away with it — now he wants approval from Congress, which he is not going to get, so he will blame them, claiming that he, Obama wanted to do “the right thing”, but Congress prevented him...

The Saudis hate the jihadists — they are supporting the military leadership in Egypt against the Muslim Brotherhood - and they are putting their money where their mouth is. They wouldn’t possibly be supporting the Al Qaeda dominated rebels in Syria.
So the US had birds in the air last night on their way to targets but they never arived? Military refuse to follow orders, reversed command? Coup attempt reason for his sudden change of heart?

Why Obama is focused on Syria:
1) Obama is a supporter of Sunni Islam and is caught up in the need to support the House of Saud, and maintain high oil prices world wide.
2) The tinder box of the ME has been created by Obama so that he can ignite a war which will consume and destroy Israel from every cardinal point in the compass.Like most Muslims, Obama detests the Jewish people.
Syria is the fuse Obama wants use to ignite a conflagration that even the Russians and China are p[rotesting.
The House of Saud is playing Obama like a fiddle, and there is a good chance that Saudi agents are the ones who set up the so called chemical weapons attack that killed so many Syrian civilians, who after all are mostly Shiites, and they are hardly human at all according to the Saudis, neither are the Jews..
Well okay. Get right to the nitty gritty, and nuke Iran then.
