there is no reason to turn this on me... i think it's perfectly fine to want to hear both sides... i am not referring to those who want to hear both sides... i am referring to those who automatically think this large group of black people must have deserved to be tossed out... or that they must be bellyaching over nothing...
No one ever interviews us to get our opinion. When they do, the tape is left on the cutting room floor because it doesn't fit the cookie cutter narrative of the LSM.
Yep.
I’m very upset by what is happening on FR. I know that there have been horrible crimes committed by black ciminals against non-blacks which are never reported as the racist attacks that they are - and justifiable resistance by non-blacks against black criminals that are reported by the MSM as crimes. I agree that the black population has to ask itself why Anglo whites, Hispanic whites, Asians and anybody not “black” might be afraid of blacks, a “conversation about race” we seem unwilling to have since the racist in chief, Obama, took over.
But resolving that problem doesn’t mean turning into racists ourselves. And some of the posts here - and on other threads - are disgusting.
I contribute to FR as a monthly donor or but I’m not sure I want to enable these people anymore. Once upon a time, the mods would take care of postings like these. What has happened?
I guess I just find it hard to believe that ANY business establishment, especially a restaurant, would be stupid enough to do something like this without some extenuating circumstances. My mind says there HAS to be more to the story.
‘Course, it really could be that simple. There are some real idiots running restaurants out there.
I wonder who the complainer was. Someone with some clout, perhaps?
“No one ever interviews us to get our opinion.”
Let me be the first.
Which founding father do you admire most?
Do you like chocolate or strawberries on your vanilla ice cream?
Do you prefer a shotgun or semi-auto pistol for home defense?
If a terrorist gang broke into your house, would you prefer:
1. One M-60 machinegun.
2. One crate of grenades.
3. An M1-A1 tank.
4. A 101st Airborne battalion.
5. A recording of John Lennon singing “Give Peace a Chance?”
How ya doing, buddy?
You may find the comments disgusting but look at the picture of the group.
Does it look like a social group that is all happy getting together?
No. Not one of them is smiling. Isn’t that a bit odd?
When you are out with friends and a picture is taken wouldn’t you find it odd that not one person in the group smiles.
This is a set-up.
They look like perfectly average if mildly unhappy folks to me, too.
If I waited for two hours and then didn’t get seated, I probably wouldn’t be smiling either.
If I hung around with morons who didn’t know enough to make reservations I wouldn’t be smiling either.
There's something about this that hasn't been said yet.
A recording of John Lennon singing Give Peace a Chance?
Cause that would be proof they were dealing with a dangerous mad man.
“Cause that would be proof they were dealing with a dangerous mad man.”
LOL!
Heh....I'm doing alright. Love the interview questions. I might just take you up on it ;-)
Thanks
Wild Wings are just mainstream corp. chain, very successful very likely to be amenable to a Jesse Jack-off scheme. That being said, I imagine this group failed to do much planning and got their feelings hurt when the restaurant manager was not overly concerned w/ their eminent starvation. This is a very busy location and the racial mix in N. Charleston is divided about 50/50 black/white as I’m sure the customer base is too. I doubt there is any actual discrimination happening but it sure seems a lot of FReepers think the precious little black group needs some cuddling and any un-PC comments are just oh-so terrible, jeez get a life!.
There are many, many restaurants w/in 5 mile radius...even some very good BBQ! However getting a large group moving is not simple.
Another side of story found after 5 second search:
“Youre only getting one side of story here. I work at the restaurant and your representation of the events is way off base. The group was being loud and obnoxious to both customers and staffers. They kept complaining about their long wait and were talking about how whitey was able to get seated, but they were not. The problem was that they had a large group and insisted on sitting next to each other. We only had one area that could accommodate their large group and the patrons in that area were not done. So yes, some whities were able to be seated before them, but only because they were going to a different area. We also seated non-whites in other areas too
They made this a racial issue before anything. One of the guests also insulted a deaf white girl because she didnt respond to one of them telling her to move (she was deaf and didnt hear them) They were also all standing in the middle of the walk way, making it difficult for customers to leave. We asked them if they could move over, but they said they can stand wherever they want, and if we wanted them out of the way then we should seat them. The customer that was offended was offended by a particular individuals constant uses of the word n*gger When asked to stop, he threw out a long string of racial epithets against one of my co-workers.”

That right there is reason enough for any customer to feel threatened by anyone in that place. If the management doesnt allow you to protect yourself, then they are responsible.
I would be most afraid of the one dressed in yellow. If you get between her and the wing tray you may be trouble.
Other than that they all seem to have their pants pulled up and not flashing gang sign.......
