CBS DC – NAACP President Ben Jealous says he plans to turn over petitions with more than 1.7 million signatures calling on the Department of Justice to pursue charges against George Zimmerman for violating Trayvon Martin’s civil rights.

How ‘bout a petition to prosecute obama for breaking his oath:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

It's a case that would get laughed out of the grand jury, and even Holder knows it.

So guess what they're working on now? My money's on, cooking up a jury that'll convict automatically -- an O.J. jury.

I'm guessing they'll try to move the new trial to a "less polluted" jurisdiction, someplace quieter .... like Detroit, or East St. Louis, or Southside Chicago, or D.C.

Like that.

Flip side: They don't want a trial, like you say .... they want the issue of "justice for Trayvon", to whip up the 97% straight-ticket, low-information voter turnout next year.

Martin's dream has turned into a mightmare.  Here is one sentence from his speech.

I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

Martin, if you could only see the broad lack of honesty and character on display, you would literally cry.

This is not what you dreamt about.  You thought all men should be judged by the content of their character.

Greece Town police screwed up the crime scene, according to various newspaper reports and comment to them, the kid, not yet 17 years old, was shot in the back at a distance of 20 to 40 feet away from Scott, and while his hands were raised in the air. Could not find trail transcript, nevertheless the jury found him innocent ........ end of story till Trayvon et al entered the scene.
