LIVE DISCUSSION THREAD
I realize now that I love Big Brother!
From what I can read here since I couldn’t watch, this clown lived down to our exact expectations. These idiots never cease to amaze me.
WH Zombie Hour to begin at 3 pm. Late, as usual.
On StratFor's twiiter, I read it was the Rebels.. Gee, knock me over with a feather NOT
Any link?
It is called the Taranto Principle, named after he who coined the principle, the inimitable James Taranto of the Wall Street Journal.
According to the Taranto Principle, the left-wing media, in their fawning suck-ups of left-wing politicians, only encourage the pols' worst instincts: encouraging Jean-Francois Kerry's sophomoric wind-surfing during his presidential race or Howard Dean's blood-curdling scream upon losing the Iowa caucuses.
And then there is President Barack Obama (gag).
Obama might say "the earth is flat," and the left-wing press will generously indulge him, thus encouraging him to ever-greater pratfalls.
Or this '60s cartoon figure, Clutch Cargo.
Nothing. Even the normal Obama pabulum would have more substance. How many zeroes can we afford in the Cabinet?
frowned upon
And further, a “strongly-worded statement” will be issued...
Right on cue ...
Syria strategy cant rely solely on military might
EXCERPT
But the fact that Syria offers no perfect outcomes or options does not mean that all possible outcomes are equally undesirable. It remains in the United States interest now as two years ago to see more moderate forces prevail. This cant be achieved with one or two volleys of cruise missiles. It will require patience and commitment.
The United States cant dictate the outcome in Syria, and it would be foolish to send ground troops in an effort to do so. But by combining military measures with training, weapons supplies and diplomacy, it could exercise considerable influence. The military measures could include destroying forces involved in chemical weapons use and elements of the Syrian air force that have been used to target civilians, as well as helping to carve out a safe zone for rebels and the civilian populations they are seeking to protect.
Such military action should be seen as one component of a policy that finally recognizes a U.S. interest in helping to shape Syrias future.
That is a little too ‘out there’ for me, but there may be some nuggets in there regardless.
I buy extra so I never run out.

UN inspectors visit site of alleged Syria chemical attack despite sniper fire
.... Officially Washington, London and Paris say they have incontrovertible evidence that the Syrian government is behind the chemical attack in Damascus, but they have not yet presented this evidence. Yet, they keep saying that the red line has been crossed, Lavrov said during an emergency press conference in Moscow
Ah yes!
Thank you so much, dearest maggief!!!
“This is high stakes lying by this WH and if they are in on it....it will spell the end of Obama and the entire democrat party.”
I don’t see how that will ever be proved.
McCain has on his full-dress warpaint. Kerry is positively glowing with his own “importance.”
The ground is pulsing with the war drumbeat.
The die is cast. It doesn’t matter WHO used the chems or where they came from, the “int’l community” realizes this is the opportunity to go get them and bury all of those pesky questions.
Meanwhile, what does Iran have to do to get attention?
So, the 30 minute delay was productive after all.
WOW
"I'm getting a new brain transplant tomorrow."
