Every once in a while you read something that truly shakes your faith in humanity. This would be one of those stories.
Christopher Lane was a 22-year-old baseball player for East Central University in Oklahoma. Friday, he was killed in a completely random act, according to police. Three boys, ages 15, 16 and 17 are in police custody for the slaying.
From the Associated Press:
"They saw Christopher go by, and one of them said: 'There's our target,'" [Duncan police chief Danny] Ford said. "The boy who has talked to us said: 'We were bored and didn't have anything to do, so we decided to kill somebody.'""They followed him in the car to that area, shot him in the back and drove off," Ford said.
Ford also noted that the boys said they killed Lane for "the fun of it."

“Also, the police chief said that two of the three boys have previously been in trouble with the law.”
Wonder what trouble they had been in before? I am getting to where I don’t want to leave my house freaking evil people lurking everywhere and it seems as if the people just doing their regular routine are being picked off one by one.
And if I see a black person now I am very leery they are out of control.
They need a ahobby
Meanwhile, former deputy prime minister Tim Fischer says.
Mr Fischer said he was deeply angered by the latest tragedy and said turning our backs on America would help send a stern message about the need for tighter gun control.
Christopher Lane, 22, was randomly gunned down while jogging through the town of Duncan in Oklahoma on Friday afternoon local time.
Mr Fischer, who led Australia's gun control reforms alongside former prime minister John Howard in 1996, said choosing not to travel to the US would help build pressure on the US Congress to finally act.
"Tourists thinking of going to the USA should think twice,'' Mr Fischer said.
"This is the bitter harvest and legacy of the policies of the NRA that even blocked background checks for people buying guns at gunshows.
"People should take this into account before going to the United States.
"I am deeply angry about this because of the callous attitude of the three teenagers (but) it's a sign of the proliferation of guns on the ground in the USA.
I say: Stay home former deputy prime minister Tim Fischer.
Ankle grabbing for their cellmate, Rashid Mohammad Ben-Dover looks like a future hobby for them.
I guess Mr. Fischer would’ve felt better if Lane had been stabbed to death or run down by a car.
Wrong. Doubt the little angels had purchased the weapon at a gun show. Thugs don’t bother to register their guns, knives, etc.
Oh the things they will see and the places they will go and the things they will do, the adventure has only just begun!
Australian Gun Control Laws didn’t stop this from happening:

Thanks to Sandra Day O’Connor, these animals will live out their lives on the public dime.
There is NO moral justification for allowing these perps to live, regardless of their age.
I tried a Geraldo like pic once with my wife
she laughed at my foolishness
learned my lesson...lol
she didn’t marry me for my looks..lol
This is the bitter harvest and legacy of the policies of the NRA that even blocked background checks for people buying guns at gunshows.

Good grief, Timmy
you dont think that 15,16,17 yo kids brought that gun at a gun show do you ???
Eh, dumb Aussie ???
Tim-May!!
The dingo ate Fischer’s brain.
I watch MMA cage fights all the time, and I’ve played video games since 1976, and I’ve watched horror movies almost all of my life, and I have never shot anyone or even so much as started a fight with anyone.
Some people are monsters.
That’s all there is to it, it’s always been that way, and it’s always going to be that way until there are no humans.
I would prefer to not live in a police state.
I would rather live in a free state that allows me to defend myself from human debris such as these boys.
As the story is reported,”they were bored” and none of the low lifes cared less whether it was an innocent person, having done no wrong to them, but the “whitey” should die.
I, as I hope most others will feel, show no mercy! Hang their a$$es in a public forum! And if you don’t think race played an issue or part of the selection processes in the subhuman scum minds, you’re a liberal idiot and not worthy of breathing good air!
Our guns are the only way we will protect ourselves and our family’s. Oddly, when I get bored I dont hunt down and kill. So, I ask...why they should be given any quarter?
Death by hanging on TV or fry em on cable, but they should die! Send the stupid rube cracker in first, followed by his dumbass parents! The crap needs to stop!
I hate to see what they do when they are serious... they did this for quote: fun.
But all of that was ontop of a civilized upbringing, kids today do not have that foundation
I am still appalled at how many people consume garbage, just because someone else calls it entertainment.
Ah I don’t know, Geron, I grew up with a violent alcoholic. I had a really rough go of it to start, and it did cause its problems for me.
I would say that there was what I would call a cultural difference though. Even though I did have some rough times, I was not besieged from all sides by poisonous music, my teachers weren’t trying to make me into a government drone or a homosexual.
Thing is though I have always loved the most violent movies, though I do not prefer sadistic movies that have been popping up in theaters fairly often in recent years. Love violent video games too, but I also love and probably even prefer non-violent video games.
You know what it boils down to for me? I believe that when I die I am going to have to account the details of my life to God, and that belief has kept me from going off the deep end more than a few times I think.
All I see today is people mocked for believing in God. I have also been mocked for believing in God by those who also believe in God because my beliefs are not exactly as they should be, so it can be tough.
But I believe Jesus is with me, and that He has saved my life here on earth, so I do not want to do anything against Him, and that is what keeps me good.
