CNN) -- A chain of Phoenix-area car washes that's raised thousands for local charities, including numerous law enforcement agencies, found itself the target of a sweeping raid Saturday by law officers.
Special agents from Immigration and Custom Enforcement's homeland security investigations unit conducted raids at 13 Danny's Family Car Wash locations in central Arizona, plus three locations tied to its outsourced staffing service provider, HR Betty, said ICE spokesman Andrew Munoz.
"We are ... going after businesses that are a magnet for unauthorized workers," Munoz said.
The action came as part of a criminal investigation into alleged criminal fraud, identity theft and financial violations, according to the agency. Few details were immediately available, though more would come out if an indictment in the case is unsealed.

Ooh, I don’t think you want to see Juanitas & Marías - many of them 5 ft tall, 200 lbs - in bikinis.

Supporters of Sheriff Joe? I’ll never believe the raid is over employment of illegals, unless they aren’t getting paid enough or too few are working there. EVERYTHING this federal government does is polititical-EVERYTHING.
Now that you know it’s a movie set, for my money Breaking Bad is the best show on TV. It’s in its final season. The writing is fantastic, the acting is tremendous, and watching this high school chemistry teacher devolve week by week from a timid meth cook to a criminal mastermind is fascinating, horrifying, darkly comedic, and completely believable. Riveting....
LOL. Yeah that’s what I thought of too.
Got Laundry?
Seems to be happening a lot lately. Hmmm...
Evidently your instincts are not too good and I don’t know when you last did that kind of work, but I still dig ditches occasionally.
Since I was a drifter for years, I did much of that kind of work around the country before immigration killed it, it is boring but unskilled and fairly easy if one is young and healthy.
I’m a contractor now, having settled down when I got too old for the road.

LOL this was so funny.Thank you for sharing it.
I will add that besides still digging ditches today as part of my contracting work, the job that was most useful to me in my travels, and the one that I most regretted losing to illegal immigration, was dishwasher.
they look like stuffed burritos
“Have an A1 day!”
It’d actually be a great job for a teenager. (though the Mexicans in there do a FABULOUS job and work their butts off). I know several teenagers who have looked and looked and can’t find jobs. These are the kinds of jobs kids did when I was a teenager, probably you too.
Been both, and agree on the easy part. Not physically easy but a lot less stressful than a lot of professions or jobs dealing with the public.
Nah, you're thinking of the Americanized Mexicans. The illegals ones have to be leaner in order to carry three bambinas with them in a full sprint across the border.
