The Obama administration announced last month via blog post that the president was unilaterally suspending ObamaCare's employer mandatenotwithstanding the clear command of the law. President Obama's comments about it on Aug. 9claiming that "the normal thing [he] would prefer to do" is seek a "change to the law"then added insult to constitutional injury. It also offers a sharp contrast with a different president who also suspended the law.
As for Republican congressmen who had the temerity to question his authority, Mr. Obama said only: "I'm not concerned about their opinionsvery few of them, by the way, are lawyers, much less constitutional lawyers." Mr. Obama made no mention of Iowa Sen. Tom Harkina Democrat, a lawyer and one of the authors of ObamaCarewho said: "This was the law. How can they change the law?"

A change in the law, no matter how minor would require legislation. That legislation would have so many amendments attached to it that Obama would have to sign the amended legislation to find out what's in it.
Obamacare became the move that put us in check. Amending it would end the game with we the people defeating him, check and mate.

At the very least Lincoln had the excuse of a wartime. Obama keeps repeating how the WOT is over.

Indeed, considering the laws Lincoln suspended. Difference here is that it is a marxist dictator who is not interested in preserving the Union, but destroying it. So, Congress and laws are “in the way”.

Boy there sure are a lot of opinion pieces popping up in major media about how Obama could care less about the LAWS he swore on the Christian Bible to uphold. First George Will, and then Charles Krauthhammer, now Nicholas Rosenkranz.
IS this the turning point for media? Doubt it but I will stay tuned.

Most the concepts of liberalism are built on lies. Global warming and Arab Springs are lies as presented. Benghazi and it's stated purpose are found to be lies. Obamacare is pure quoted falsifications right from his own mouth over the core primary directives of the law.
I think he must lie about everything at all times. The old Clinton rule applies here.
"Never mix lies with truths. That only serves to trip you up later. Lie big and bold. By doing so nobody can dare question you. In their doing so it will only serve to isolate them from their peers and associates as their claims would be seemingly crazy!"

The presidency by Obama is much like his laws. You just make them and then fix em as you roll out your brand of treason. As the treason takes an angry turn with the people, you blame your opponents for the mayhem because they undercut it's support and funding which becomes the cause of said failure. The cycle makes you a dictator immune from your failures.
It's brilliant actually.
It relies heavily however on a very stupid populace, which was on a large part a gift in perpetuity from Jimmy Carter and the teaching unions.

More proof that Obama thinks he is our Pharaoh and has unlimited power.
Even the Egyptians didn’t want a Pharaoh.. but Americans just keep worshiping Obama.
Weird, weird.. Weird.

The president has the authority to provide prosecution guidelines to the enforcers of regulations.
The congress has authority to impeach the president for failure to enforce the laws.
I seem to recall a aphorism attributed to President Jackson saying “John Marchall has made his decision, not let him enforce it.” on the case of Worcester v. Georgia.
It is hard to impeach a president. If a police officer took a bribe to, say, not write a ticket, that would be corruption, and the police officer should be fired and indicted. Accepting bribes to not enforce the law would be a felony, certainly a high crime.
Because of racism, this president skates.

No, but I hope the end result shares some common thread.
