We live in a seemingly free country, so were told. But that may be because the majority of us have never spent time in a war zone or highly secured police state-like environment.
Few of us understand what it looks like when military and state intelligence assets take over.
Those who do understand, and have themselves implemented such plans in other countries, see exactly whats going on and they are sounding the alarm (often falling on deaf ears).

We *old farts* tend to have a very narrow view of right and wrong also.
Not many gray areas or extenuating circumstances :)

Yup, asymmetrical warfare was wildly successful in bringing down the twin towers. It will do wonders for our side if and when CW2 occurs.

Yep, availability and prices seem to be trending back toward reasonable - except for .22 rimfire variants, which still seem to be more difficult to obtain locally for anything close to reasonable amounts or costs. Kind of vexing, that.

That is outrageous. Of all the days.
I wish we had Egypt’s army here. And I wonder if the next world war will be against the Muslim Brotherhood.
Sorry to focus on that part of your post, Eva. The first re a single federal union, is just as chilling or more so

Y'all done come close to having a Black Bayou according to the article, "Water feeds into Black Lake from Black Lake Bayou", LOL.
There are a bunch of little unnamed bayous south and southwest of Houma where we go bass fishing.
Way out in the marsh a buddy and myself found a little bayou off of an oilfield canal, went down it and caught a bunch of bass, but he bent the skeg on his outboard getting in there.
Word got out to our bass club and it became popular.
When a new addition of the local fishing maps came out, it was marked "Skeg Bayou".
Told my buddy that we were famous now, like Louis and Clark.
He didn't see no humor at all, LOL!

I think any serious attempt at confiscation is pretty much going to be the green light.

Organization. A SWAT team up against one homeowner is a non-event. For them. Just wonder though how’d they’d do in woods with someone wearing a ghillie suit armed with a .300WinMag ... or a .22-250 varmint rifle. ‘Course we’re not talking traps and such, that’s extra.

That's why the government has been buying up all the ammo. A rifle without ammo is a club. A handgun without ammo is a blackjack. The "picking off" won't go on for very long. If the government wanted to dry up ammo reserves now, the effort should've begun in earnest a decade earlier.

This pre-staging bothers me. It makes me wonder what the real reason behind it is Its in preparation for the collapse of the USD and the economy, at which time the EBT cards will not work, which, in turn, will bring out millions of zombies.
