Four teens -- three 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old -- were among seven people shot across the South Side overnight, according to police.
A 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were shot as they left a basketball game around 11:30 p.m. just east of Martin Luther King Drive in the Park Manor neighborhood, police and relatives said. A 49-year-old man was also shot.

Not a game. Not a joke. But, isn’t this just the typical news du jour in Chicago?
Meanwhile - the racers ignore this while they continue to blather on and on about Trayvon.
Here. Here’s a little something for them to consider:
Trayvon Martin was lucky.
It was just a matter of time before he too was going to be killed. But instead of being part of the 98%, he was one of the lucky 2 percent of black kids that actually got killed by a cracker instead of another black punk.
And look how much loot his parents collected as a result!

That's what I was thinking. What kind of basketball game is played at 11:30 at night "just east MLK Drive"?
Aside from the fact that these teens were in violation of both Illinois and Chicago curfew laws, 15 and 16 year olds running around there at 11:30 p.m. sounds like the beginning of a bad story no matter how it ends.
