An Imperial, Missouri woman was charged with burglary, first-degree assault and armed criminal action after she snuck into a house late Friday and repeatedly stabbed the homeowner during a burglary.
The home owners son came downstairs during the attack and held the woman, Christina Fudge, at gunpoint until the police arrived.
...
Deputies said she had been drinking liquor before the incident and was depressed over a child custody battle. She told officers she was stealing keys so she could drive over to her ex-boyfriends house in Iron County to murder him, his sister and her husband.

Do you have the Booking Photo, or was it on an Episode of Cops?
*****************************************************************
The involved cops sound like they’d fit right into an episode of ‘Reno 911’. Sometimes cops do something simply because “they can”—it doesn’t have to be the right or legal thing to do.
I think the only way this could possible be legal would be if the homeowners and family were a pack of felons.
Sounds just like what “odumbo” does because he can.
Nah. Pretty open and shut case. There is something missing or misleading about the last tidbit. If true, there must be extenuating circumstances associated with the confiscation of the weapon. Felony on one of the residence, modified shotty, I don't know.
Otherwise, this is a miscarriage of justice and he should sue the hell out of them.
<< standard operating procedure, its a shooting>>
No shots were fired.
SOP in a case where no shots were fired? BS.
I know better my friends it happened to me. At the hearing it’s used as retraining evidence they show it to the judge they don’t keep it.
Any cop that spends their time shaking down the white folks for their guns and money is a pig, and should be treated like a pig.
Yup, substitute a BB gun at the last minute.
They should have provided another shotgun in exchange in the meantime. I don’t know why a car mechanic can provide his car while yours is getting fixed but these aholes cannot provide one weapon.
They should have provided another shotgun in exchange in the meantime. I don’t know why a car mechanic can provide his car while yours is getting fixed but these aholes cannot provide one weapon.... that would be a legitimate use of the gun buy back program.
That would be nice. Well at least so far they are not forbidding the acquisition of a second gun. It could be worse.
If anything happens to that family while one of their lines of defense has been confiscated, their blood will be on the heads of all involved government employees.

Shoot a five year old? Get your record expunged! After all, the death of a child is definitely *not* as important as one’s career. Right? Right? Right?
It is evidence just like the clothing the stabbing victim wore.
Evidence of what crime?
Assuming she was your ex at the time, how did she get YOUR handgun?
Evidence of the cicumstances that occured during the stabbing. Nit evidence against the guy who saved the victim’s life.
When in doubt it goes into evidence so some shyster lawyer can’t teist facts later without evidence to counter his shyster bullshit.
We all work for the lawyers....
We were separated, I had the kids, but I let her come to the house to visit them. She was never a problem when visiting the kids, but one day she was visiting them while I was at work, she sent the kids to grandma's then lured her boy friend to the house and shot him. Kind of a love/hate thing I guess.
If people defend themselves, then they aren’t dependent on the government. That simple.
Just like anything else it is about money.
Confiscated guns are used in trade when the police department buys replacement firearms for the department.
It is a common practice for police departments to trade in their old side arms and their inventory of Unclaimed, Confiscated or Forfeited firearms in inventory as part of payment for the new firearms.
