Signs of new climate 'normal' apparent in hot 2012: report

Last year was one of the 10 hottest on record, with sea levels at record highs, Arctic ice at historic lows and extreme weather in various corners of the globe signaling a "new normal," scientists said Tuesday in the 2012 State of the Climate report.

"Our planet as a whole is becoming a warmer place," said Kathryn Sullivan, acting administrator of the NOAA. The report was edited by NOAA scientists and drew contributions from 384 scientists from 52 countries.

Nevermind.

I see that you are looking at the change and my PPM number should be “from 300 to 400”.

CO2 does not affect climate. That was picked because it’s the industrial gas and commies hate industry. Dirt has more affect on climate than CO2

If you really want to know the history of C02 has a pollutant etc...

It started with Enron, as they looked for new markets to trade during the mid 1990’s they lobbied AL Gore and convinced him that it was a “Climate Imperative” to manage the growth of C02 in order to save the planet.

Enron collapsed and AL Gore took an equity stake in the exchange that was to clear all the “Carbon Credits” that would be traded.

Hardly Communist, but they certainly use the Progressive/socialist/communist/environmentalist/brain dead/feel good/zoombies to advance this stupidity.

Extreme weather ? New normal ? We currently are in the quietest Tornado season ever. To date this is the quietest start to Hurricane season ever. And this is the second weakest fire season on record. Of course, whoever lets facts get inside the brainwashed mind of a leftist.

Quietest Tornado Season On Record

Quietest Hurricane Season On Record To Date

Second Quietest Fire Season On Record Continues

So if we take their brainwashed word for it, this is the new normal, and I say fine.

Had a few very hot days in July, but here in Connecticut, we’re having a cool august with highs in the low 80’s. Nice, if you ask me. No need for A/C.

And our Winters have been brutal. Got 50” of snow in one storm last year. Year before, we had a big snow storm on October 29th!! in Connecticut!! I really do believe that cleaner air is to blame.

If I had been able to start my garden this year it would have been a great summer to be growing tomatoes here in Meridian, Ms. My last in ground garden was decimated by the heat!

Thing is about those ole ice ages....it’s difficult to tell if it will be a little one or the big one. We (humans) wouldn’t know for sure until very long after I’m dead.

Some Russian scientists predicted 200 years. Why 200? Why not 2000 or 20000 years?

It’s all about cherry picking data points. I can’t wait for a Maunder minimum.

Coming right up...and just in time for the 2016 elections....

However....King "Canute" Obama is on the job with a laser like focus....

Issues an EXECUTIVE ORDER to the SUN

Welcome King Barack "Canute" Obama the Great.....

...Obama issues an Executive Order to the Sun...

....to increase it's magnetic field....

and make a good crop of sunspots before elections in 2016....

(PhysOrg.com) -- Sunspot formation is triggered by a magnetic field, which scientists say is steadily declining. They predict that by 2016 there may be no remaining sunspots, and the sun may stay spotless for several decades.

The last time the sunspots disappeared altogether was in the 17th and 18th century, and coincided with a lengthy cool period on the planet known as the Little Ice Age....and lasted 400 years.

Good luck surviving with no electricity and GE modified seeds.

scientists said Tuesday in the 2012 State of the Climate report.

Ah yes.
Those un-named and un-nameable "scientists," who do hairstyling for a day job.

LOL!!

The report was edited by NOAA scientists and drew contributions from 384 scientists from 52 countries.

Why can't we see all 384 contributions before editing?
Too embarrassing?
Who edits?
The University of East Anglia?
