Get a public employee mad for doing a slow job and the cops get called.

I'm a shuttle driver for a hotel near the DFW airport, and in the last year a building program of making new toll plazas on the north and south end has taken place and part of this program has been to build very narrow concrete barriers to enter and exit the DFW airport.

The concrete barrier lanes, makes one feel one is entering or leaving a fortress compound, such as the Berlin Wall. There is only one wide lane for 22 passenger hotel shuttles or semi's, and this lane is not toll tag only meaning that any car may go in the lane, discriminating against vehicles that go into the airport with regularity with a toll tag, such as the vehicle I drive, because there is not an exclusive lane for wide vehicles with Texas toll tags.

I was departing the DFW airport and got caught, in which I believe was a car not having a ticket to depart in the wide lane. I waited four minutes and started to honk to get attention, so that traffic could move, I kept honking, and honking, because I knew I was the only driver on duty for the hotel. I put my vehicle in park, and got of the vehicle, to push my protest of the delay with no avail.

Finally after 12 minutes of waiting the red minivan went through, and I was notified by my radio and by my supervisor that I had been honking and had gotten out of the vehicle to see what was going on in 104 degree heat.

Anyway the DFW toll plaza is a total cluster youknowwhat. It is like a mini Berlin wall and is filled with recent immigrant employees, with rudimentary English, mostly from Africa and the Asian sub-continent.

The place is run by a man named Dean Ahmed, who has no idea about customer service. I have talked to him on the phone, he is your typical arrogant democrat.

Also, by my honking of the bad customer service, I was called into the DFW police who called my hotel, and now I have to suffer the HR director saying, "you don't honk", while she tells us, "to give the best service possible".

I wonder what she will say and look like, when I say,"Shouldn't the DFW parking authority give me the same."

Yep, that’s me - pedestrian vigilante and flame war provocateur. Break out the popcorn, I think I can keep this one going for days!

Eaker, welcome back. Thought I had lost you. More popcorn Cyber, game on!

While someone like me would jump back and just kick the offending vehicle, I have to wonder what type of person would just stand there and let themselves get hit! Oh, I got it, someone like eaker or humblegunner - these "real men" who always think they're invincible and have the absolute right to the road. And I'm sure that'll be the ultimate irony, that whenever this WhumpThumpSplat prophesy occurs, it'll likely involve two characters like these.

Every time I see a slow walking homo step lively because he crossed the wrong cowboy I will think of you scuttling across the street with a brown stripe decorating your capri pants.

It is clear as you already stated you start the crap so I hope someone actually runs your sorry Rachel Corrie ass down.

Keep in mind wee one, if you go looking for trouble sometimes it will find you.

While someone like me would jump back

Indicating that you were in the wrong place.

just kick the offending vehicle

Damage my truck, expect return damage in kind.

I have to wonder what type of person would just stand there and let themselves get hit!

Probably the retard that insists upon standing in the road.

Ah what fun, I’ve got Eaker posting his pics again, and humblegunner still frantically trying to disassemble my posts. And neither has yet realized that I am now driving my virtual SUV down the road that is this thread, which I now own, and making them run this way and that with each of my posts. You can’t win boys, stick around and you’ll be running for days, or disappear and show yourselves for the wussies you are.

Whatever drugs cause you to believe the above is likely
the same that cause you to wish to stand about in traffic.

Pancakes? The only pancakes will be any poster on this thread who now try to change the topic off that which I have now decided it must be - pedestrian rights in a crosswalk. As you can see, Eaker and humblegunner saw me “driving” the thread in that direction, and now they themselves are like a pedestrian in a crosswalk facing an oncoming car. They can run, they can get splattered, or they can jump back and may e hope to make an occasional dent. But either way, watch out - this is now my thread and I’m coming through!

Jacking with dumbasses is a hobby of mine.

Cruel, yes.. but also amusing.

Don’t you have some traffic you would like to go stand in front of?

I thank God everyday that I am not like you, a pathological liar and a pussy all rolled up in an ineffectual ball of crap.

Do the world a favor little slow walker just step in front of a car and die. Maybe it will teach the other 99%’ers a little something about life.

As to Photoshop is requires creativity and intelligence; two things you are sadly lacking. You cannot make up the lack of these two things with mindless faggotry no matter how hard you try.

Gunner, it is clear that wee ‘lil feller is too stupid to know when he has been shown to be a fool but we have him dangling like a puppet dancing to our tune. It is funny that about every third post he is frothing at the mouth like he just had prison sex. Again, and again and again.

Hey guys, don’t hold it against me, I’m just following your example here. I’m going to now drive the topic on this thread, not gonna give a hoot about anything that’s in my path, and I’ll just keep going until anyone in my way (meaning you) has run for the exits. After all, that’s the way to be, right?

Oh, and thanks Eaker for bringing back up the slow walking part. I’m looking forward to post # 1000 as I now take you and your friend down a nice slow walk on this thread. It may take some time, but I’m sure we’ll get there. After all, I’m the one doing the driving.

If you negotiate traffic the way you think you can dictate what happens on a thread, you will end up like Rachel up there. And it won't be out of spite, it will be for the same reason she got pancaked: The operator of a much-larger vehicle is going to fail to see you and run over you. The bulldozer operator didn't want to run her down, but he did run her down because, listen: He. Did. Not. See. Her. I'm pretty sure he felt terrible about it after. He sure didn't go to jail for it.

Push your luck and somebody's going to not see you, too. Just sayin. And that person sill not be looking at any jail time, either.

After your post, only 845 more to go to get to my goal of 1000 posts on this thread. Sounds foolish? Sounds pointless? Sounds like someone who would drive their car into a stream of pedestrians? Sounds like a pedestrian who wouldn’t run out of that car’s way? Well I am now that foolish driver, and anyone else on this thread are those mere mortals who dare think they have the right to be here . So the only question is whether they’ll do what they profess to be the wise thing and run, or whether they’ll meet my folly with their own by standing pat, by committing themselves to staying on the crosswalks of this thread and in the path of my oncoming posts!

By the way, the example you’re citing is off the mark. As you should know, eaker and humblegunner have not been arguing extenuating circumstances for driver error, they’ve been advocating willful disregard for pedestrians legally in a crosswalk, believing they shouldn’t have to wait of slow down until a legally required margin of safety exists before they push their way through. If you also believe that, then just say so. Naturally, if the driver in the RC incident had hit someone because he was driving like that, he would have bee charged.

Honk honk - pedestrian rights when legally in a crosswalk is the topic, and I love it when the driver honks, since then I know he’s seen me!

A little introspection is required here, since Cyber has questioned the idea that I can dictate what happens on this thread. So I have to ask myself - self - what makes me think that I should be able to do this? Is it just because I'm willing to post 20x more than anyone else? Does that make it right?

I suppose it's about as right as a driver who has the same regard for a crosswalk, when his vehicle weighs 20x more than any legally- crossing pedestrian.
