SEIU Man: If McDonald’s Strikers Don’t Get What They Want, They May Contaminate the Food

So I guess going to a New York McDonald’s isn’t a good idea right now.

Videographer and conservative blogger Adam Sharp of SharpElbows.net attended one such demonstration and interviewed an SEIU member, easily identifiable as such by his purple shirt.

When asked whether the union member supported the $15 per hour wage increase the McDonald’s workers were demanding, he admitted, “I’m not sure.”

He also said he was there to show his support for the workers rather than the company and expressed a fear that, “if they’re [the McDonald’s employees] pissed off, they could be doing something to that food.”

“So that’s your main concern, is that if they don’t get what they want, they might contaminate the food?”

The SEIU member shrugged his shoulders and said, “I don’t know.”

Video at the link.

I’m not one who hates on McDonald’s. You go there, you get what you want at a reasonable price and the product is consistent from coast to coast. Overseas, McDonald’s

WOW.

So if I am poisoned by somebody following this Union Thugs suggestion, do I still have to thank Big Labor for “giving me the weekend?”

Every employee on strike should be fingerprinted, listed with their fingerprints on a national privately operated database, and never hired again. They should all starve in the dark, and should have to watch their family starve because of their misjudgement.

Local franchise owners yes....most CEOs no. They get to rake in the big money for doing nothing and for incompetence. They get protected too by their labor contracts. Something is majorly wrong.

“I consider SEIU to be a criminal organization.”

In a staff meeting in my H.R. office I referred to the SEIU employees as “organized crime”. Got the ol’ stink eye from my boss, the H.R. Director. Then I rolled my eyes. More stink eye.

A few months back I had an SEIU goon show up on my doorstep and suggest I vote for a particular city council candidate. I assured him I'd keep his endorsement in mind.

I did.

I voted for her opponent.

Move to where there’s a In-n-Out. The kitchen is totally open, and the staff is courteous, clean-cut, well paid, well treated and motivated.

OK. I get crazy sometimes and post before I think. I'm glad I didn't post something that I was trying to suppress on this SEIU provocateur post.

"Until the playing field is level I will frankly support the same right to workers."

Wow, the SEIU party line in a nutshell? Your info page says you're a "libertarian conservative " but your statements say otherwise. Have a major change of heart lately or what?

The top people get sweet deals because the people who control the money think they're worth it and the person getting the protection takes all they can get.

Or, is free enterprise no longer part of the libertarian creed?

McDonalds is a franchise operation. The “CEO” is also the owner and entrepreneur. There is no one to “fire him.” He is risking his own money to keep the business alive and growing.

You want him fired? who the H-— are you?

Whoaaaa. If they display incompetence they need fired, same as the underlings. I’m tired of supporting the rich CEOs and entrepreneurs with my tax money. Capitalism works only if capitalists risk their own money, not ours. If they create a job, that is their job, and why do they want subsidized? If they can’t do their job, they should be fired first and given the boot.

Is this the "new normal?"

Don't get my way? Poison the food.

Don't get my way? Loosen the bolts on the machines.

Don't get my way? Block the roads.

Don't get my way? Riot and vandalize.

Don't get my way? Beat and kill someone.

Years ago, our grocery store union employees (Jewel Foods) went on strike. They held up signs saying things like “Jewel has roaches!” “The meat is old!” “They use bleach on the vegetables!”.

I always wondered what they would accomplish by this. I mean, who would shop there again, and how would this promote job security if they lost 20% or more of their customer base.

It is irrational.

Cutting off your face to spite your nose.
