I’m all for the truth — it’s her overly dramatic and outraged attitude that gets boring.
It’s like a quilt. It has been said that you have to have some boring squares to make the beautiful ones stand out.
Same deal with debate, or reportage. Some arguments are normal-level arguments, and others deserve highly outrageous status. When everything is highly outrageous (like JJ’s monologues) the audience tunes out after a while. The first time she did it, she got a lot of attention. But now, it has bcome a feature of every program.
