A lot of Beethovens works are about struggle, particularly in their sonata development sections. After a serious introduction, here is one piece where Beethoven sits back, a fine brandy in one hand, a Havana cigar in the other and a high-priced lady of the evening in his lap. Hes just kicking back and having a good time.
