I thought this picture was a great reminder of the great opportunity Obama has squandered to unite our great country. I am so very tired of his divisive identity politics and contempt for America. It's hard to keep a positive attitude these days and I thought this picture provided a little inspiration for why we need to keep Obama from tearing our country apart.

In December of 2008 Axelrod promised that Osama Obama would never pass up an opportunity to exploit a crisis. He hasn't the slightest desire to do anything but inflame.Remember....community organizer...Saul Alinsky...Bill Ayers...Jeremiah Wright.

There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.
Booker T. Washington
Wow. AMong the comments at the linked site is this quote attributed to Booker T. I thought race baiting professionals (like Obama) were a more recent creation.

Our family photograph would be about the same. Biological and adopted - each one wonderfully made by their creator and loved unconditionally.

That must have been before government forced racial integration.
Having endured the painfull physical consequences of forced racial integration personally, I can tell you that picture is a snapshot of children who had no idea they were supposed to hate each other.
They learned that later.
When I was that age, growing up in a city near Detroit, I didn't know I was supposed to be the evil white oppressor of anyone.
On my first school field trip, we visited another elementary school in town, we students had pen-palled with all year, and I tasted Hawaiian Punch for the first time in my life!
I thought all black kids were rich people, because we didn't ever have anything like Hawaiian Punch at my school...

We have just such a family in the small town where I live. The parents are truly great christian people who have adopted four black children, one crippled hispanic child, one crippled white child, not to mention having three of their own natural born children. These children are loved unconditionally. There is NO anomosity towards these children or their parents. All of them are good, well respected citizens. Now tell me what is wrong with the Trayvon Martin worshipers?

Prior to the race riots of the '60s, that was my neighborhood - started going heavily Black in the mid '50s, but they still had family structure and moral compass - all friends and neighbors. Even went through the "outrage" when a Black neighbor married a White Blonde woman. Most of the tsking was from women who wondered if it was for the big dong... No loud protests, or attacks and even some of the Blacks wondered about it but had no strong reaction.
We were on a healthier track to become an integrated, color-blind society in the '50s than we are today - I wonder what changed.....
