Prior to the race riots of the '60s, that was my neighborhood - started going heavily Black in the mid '50s, but they still had family structure and moral compass - all friends and neighbors. Even went through the "outrage" when a Black neighbor married a White Blonde woman. Most of the tsking was from women who wondered if it was for the big dong... No loud protests, or attacks and even some of the Blacks wondered about it but had no strong reaction.
We were on a healthier track to become an integrated, color-blind society in the '50s than we are today - I wonder what changed.....

This is the reality in most neighborhoods. It’s only the media, race hustlers and underachievers that play up the small percentage of implied or actual race problems and they make it seem as though it’s all nationwide.
