Journalist Michael Hastings’ body was reportedly cremated by Los Angeles authorities against his family’s wishes, destroying possible evidence of his mysterious death in a car accident on June 18.
Hastings was killed when his Mercedes crashed into a tree at a high speed and exploded.
Only hours earlier, Hastings sent an email to friends at Buzzfeed.com stating that he was “onto a big story” and had “to go off the radar for a bit.” He also warned his colleagues that they might be questioned about him by authorities.

My guess: He was dead before he was put into the car, which was rigged to explode and burn, and destroy the evidence of his prior death. The big question: who dunnit, and why? Was he “interrogated” first? Did he put up too much of a struggle, and they had to mark him up? His fiery “exploding car” ending just stinks to high heaven.
I am not a conspiracy guy in the slightest, but it is becoming obvious that this was no accident. ‘errant cremation’ is not a coincidence, given the situation. If this was just a routine accident, the family would have gotten things done as requested. Yes, mistakes happen, but that’s outside the realm of ‘mistakes’.
In California the body of the deceased isn’t given into the custody of the family?? How can this be? - by what authority?
And this has nothing to do with which party is in charge of the government. It’s simply the government.
This sounds more and more like the Clinton years. No wonder Hillary is nostalgic.

Would you really? A family member was just killed, pretty sure by the gov't, and someone went through the trouble to cremate the body before you got it back and no one in the country seems to care. Don't know what I'd do
Heads up, I am going to get this article over to some other s who can run with it. I am now convinced that this was no accident.
