Crime Man’s Defense Against Gun Charge: ‘I Did What Joe Biden Told Me to Do’

A Washington man who fired his shotgun into the air to scare away alleged car prowlers pleaded not guilty on Wednesday, citing Vice President Joe Biden’s questionable gun advice as the reason he took that specific action.

Jeffery Barton, 52, of Vancouver, Wash., is charged with one count of illegal aiming or discharging a firearm. He was arraigned in Clark County Court on Wednesday.

This case bothers me a lot, if what I have read is true. She was living at her Mother's house, and the husband came over there in a rage. He admitted to police, "I got 5 baby mommas and I put my hands on all of them but one". He had previously told her that he would kill her if she cheated, knocked her into the wall and the bathtub, and had a restraining order against him. He is a violent man.

So when this thug forced his way into what was at the time her house, against her will, and came at her, she fired a warning shot into the ceiling. How that gets her 20 years is beyond me. But she was prosecuted by the same unethical goons who prosecuted Zimmerman.
