Remember decades ago when the mantra used to be that only the BIG THREE national networks could exist and no others could ever make a go of it? With some delay, NBC might actually prove that right....FOX and a couple of early alphabet ones.
Zimmerman should get tens of millions in punitive damages, yea hundreds of millions...sending a strong devastating message to all broadcasters, to clean up their act.
I live the smell of schadenfreude in the morning. It smells like, I dunno, victory.

And I hope Z’s attorney extracts a bloody good settlement out of them RIGHT AWAY, so he can...
a) get out from under his legal bills
b) get on with living his life — law school, whatever
c) afford the extra protection he’ll need for his family
d) have some seed money to go after any and all entities that screwed him over in further civil suits
The only problem with *that* attitude is that if GZ's awarded $100 million by a jury NBC will appeal the verdict and/or amount all the way up the ladder,taking years.And at the end of that process the court could lower the award to a fraction of the original amount.OTOH,if the two parties settle for,say,$10 million GZ gets the cash immediately and the case is closed.
