Was Treyvon at 7-11 Buying Skittles and Fruit Juice to Make a Drug? (What we've known all along)
Gateway Pundit ^ | July 17, 2013 | The News Commenter

The media has focuses heavily on the fact that Treyvon purchased Skittles at 7-11 before his confrontation with Zimmerman, but they fail to mention he was also buying Arizona Fruit Juice, both of which are ingredients commonly used to create a home-made drug called “Sizzurp” or “Lean”. From this article on AmericanThinker.

Trayvon, with his hoodie up, grabs two items from the shelves of 7-11. One is the Skittles. The other is Arizona Watermelon Fruit Juice Cocktail. The media avoid the name of the real drink — possibly because of the racial implications of the word “watermelon,” but possibly to avoid probing the real reason for Trayon’s trip.

Trayvon, in fact, had become a devotee of the druggy concoction known as “Lean,” also known in southern hip-hop culture as “Sizzurp” and “Purple Drank.” Lean consists of three basic ingredients — codeine, a soft drink, and candy. If his Facebook postings are to be believed, Trayvon had been using Lean since at least June 2011.

The media tells us over and over again that Treyvon was just a child out getting Skittles, and on his way home to watch some cartoons like other young children do. Is it possible they were lying to us?

Read more and watch the video showing the ingredients for “Sizzurp” here.

This is a conversation among FReepers, an exchange of ideas and information with one goal in mind: to get to the nuts and bolts of something. I haven’t been here as long as many others, but in the few years I have, I found that’s what FReepers want most - to uncover the truth, however unpleasant it may be. I believe FReepers feel stronger when they are informed, and this conversation is an attempt to become informed.

This is much different than going on television and lying or speculating to a mass audience, at someone else’s expense.

Well, that is one of the complicating factors here.
17 is no baby and 21 is no adult.

Got a link on the liver damage?

Here is a review of Tryvon's drug use and autopsy. The ME report was BS. A 17 year old does not have fatty deposits on their liver at a such a young age. Further, read up on Trayvon's own text messages and his admission of using LEAN. Finally, paranoia and aggression are the common behavior patterns from lean abuse.

Now look up cirrhosis. This is old news. Someone like yourself (and your posting history) is not here out of an innocent curiosity to learn. This was dicussed long ago.

You may think you are riding the tiger, but I am more inclined to predict you will be riding the lightning.

You are on television.
This is a public forum.

Sorry, but if you don’t see the difference between conversing here and going on MSNBC or CNN, then I don’t know what to say...

I think he used these ingredients to make Purple Drank or Lean but his liver was fine.

Read the report again and not the conclusions. The yellow fat blotches were hardly normal for a 17 year old and are consistent with the onset of cirrhosis from lean abuse. The ME reported incorrectly. This should of raised some eyebrows.

Exactly. That caught a couple Physician friends eyes immediately. WTF followed with the normal conclusion.

FWIW just because there was no “Diagnostic” abnormality does not mean there is no liver damage. The focal changes are clearly abnormal for a 17 year old. These might be normal for a 50 year old man, but on a 17 year old, this is pretty clear evidence of substance abuse. It was not significant in causing or contributing to his death, so there was no reason for the coroner to make a liver diagnosis.

Interesting that the doctor would also note that there was no “diagnostic abnormality” in the heart. Did he not find a bullet sized hole in it?

So now there is an abnormality of the liver where there was no diagnostic abnormality.

The kid was a punk that attacked without cause.

Let us refrain from doing the same.

Other factors can and often do cause fatty liver. Malnutrition is one, especially when there is not enough protein in the diet. I doubt at his age he had abused any drug long enough or heavily enough that it caused liver damage. Of course, you are free to believe whatever you choose.

I know. I know enough about physiology and pathologies to understand the implications. More important though is the psychological prognosis for DMX use combined with Martin’s admitted abuse of it. The stuff makes LSD look like a Shirley Temple.

Same here. I don’t understand how Christians can be so happy that he’s dead. Whatever mistakes he made, it’s a tragedy that he died for them.

I saw a post today about that kid from Glee that died, and it said “good riddance”.

I’m not a perfect Christian (who is?), but I don’t understand taking pleasure in someone else’s death.

There is a difference, of decades, between fatty deposits, which are diagnostic, and liver damage.

Of course, you are free to believe whatever you choose.

You have already. A healthy young normal male does not exhibit the onset of cirrhosis. The admission of LEAN abuse is consistent with the autopsy findings.

Malnutrition is one, especially when there is not enough protein in the diet.

How malnourished did Trayvon appear to you? He seemed quite developed for his age with well developed muscle mass.

The same doctor who found no “Diagnostic abnormality” in the liver also found no “Diagnostic abnormality” in the heart.

I thought there was a bullet that tore through that heart.

The kid had documented abnormalities in his liver. That is a fact. Deal with it. Read his Facebook posts and tweets. The kid was a drug abuser and possibly even a drug dealer.

If you want to squelch this information, then go watch CNN or NBC.

So what is your point?
Zimmerman was acquitted.

Yep. It is a good thing they are exposing themselves. The normal reaction to this revelation should be quite different. A normal person would be shocked at the current drug abuse choices. The LEAN abuse is an immediate foot in the grave.
