Black Americans paid much closer attention to George Zimmerman's trial than white Americans did, according to a new survey from the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press.
It wasn't difficult to follow the murder case against Zimmerman, who shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla., in February 2012: News coverage of the trial was almost ubiquitous in its closing days.
But not everbody took advantage. Fifty-six percent of the blacks surveyed said they followed the trial "very closely," compared to 20% of whites. The telephone survey of 1,002 adults was taken July 11 to July 14. The six-woman jury returned a not-guilty verdict for Zimmerman on July 13.....

I have a question that I don’t think anyone has asked.
The white prosecutors threw the case. No attorneys could be this incompetent on purpose.
How come blacks aren’t going after the prosecution for beng racist when it was obvious they wanted Zimmerman acquitted?

Here is where you will see good science castigated in favor of social agenda. But bad science (global warming) supported for economic agendas of the elite.

And, lest we forget Charles Murray, discussed extensively in media circus circles there is this conclusion, not connected particularly to race and exposes the Poverty Pimp game of gotcha as an excuse for their community of hell;

It is easy to watch TV all day when you do not have a job.
I know exactly what happened that night because I have
been paying attention to the liberal media!
9-year old Trayvon Martin was on his way home from choir
practice and delivering hot meals to the elderly. He stopped to hold umbrellas for a Girl Scout Troop which
was raising money for quadriplegic AIDS victims in Africa. After he helped the Girl Scouts, he then delivered 10 Golden Retriever puppies which were breach birth.
That’s when George Zimmerman pulled up in his Hummer, on
his way home from a White Hispanic KKK meeting. High on meth and shouting racist slogans. GZ saw TM and opened up with his twin roof-mounted 50 caliber machine guns.
TM saved all the Girl Scouts and then went back to save
the Golden Retriever puppies.
GZ ran out of ammunition so he unholstered two Desert
Eagle .44 magnum pistols and started firing at the puppies and TM. That’s when TM was hit in the back by 32 rounds of hollow-point, teflon-coated & explosive ammunition. GZ then called his cop buddies who were at the KKK rally.
They cleaned up the site and made the Girl Scouts and Golden Retrievers “disappear” in the Everglades so there would be no witnesses. They washed the blood from GZ’s greasy jowls after GZ gnawed on TM’s still beating heart.
It must be true! Justice for Trayvon (and his mother’s
merchandising rights)!
Oh yes, GZ is the current world champion for ALL schools
of martial art and had just escaped from a mental institution for the criminally insane. A few years earlier, he was indicted for murder eight times but got off only because his father was a Supreme Court Justice and head of the CIA.
That is such BS. Anyone that actually watched the trial knows what a weak case the state had.
After three weeks of the prosecutors getting beat up every night, this “shock” at the verdict is really the “shock.”

I get the feeling that “following the trial” for many, meant they listened to ignorant media commentary about the trial rather than actually watch the proceedings.
Twenty-one percent of black respondents said they watched “almost all” of the Zimmerman trial coverage.
Two-thirds of black respondents said they watched at least some of the Zimmerman trial.
