Which fits with the being obsessed with reality TV. If there's a 5-1 hung jury the one hangout for conviction is going to get a HELL of a lot more media attention (especially if she wants it and the other five don't) than her fellow jurors.

Agree--although witness testimony was strong enough for the prosecution to eventually concede TM was on top. Along the same line (albeit weaker argument), defense didn't use the Toxicology report either.

I guess my question was more to the point: Could a juror have taken a cell phone into the deliberations room and texted a friend with an update?

Nancy Grace just lied on HLN (big surprise) and claimed that GZ had never shown any remorse over shooting TM. Male commentator (Taffey?) reminded her that GZ had indeed apologized to TM’s parents last year. However, TM parents did NOT accept his apology. So much for Nancy Grace’s (and the left’s) credibility and honesty. (but we knew that)

I’ve served on two juries and both were in the early ‘90s before cell phones were so commonplace. I’m speculating but I would guess cell phones would be disallowed in a jury deliberation room.

You people have this wrong I am just asking questions that the prosecution or defense could not verify! The whole trial was full of crap!
So get over yourselves and do some hard core asking of real questions of the evidence that was presented!
GZ is the Key witness and did not testify! How do you know what he said was the truth he was never under oath to say what he witnessed was true!
All you have is 5 to 6 Atty’s running around in circles and a Judge that is incompetent.
And some expert witness that can prove anything is possible!
And you expect 6 women to make a life choice for GZ! How sad!

Jury rooms, or at least ones that are used for this high-profile a case, are supposed to be sound proofed, swept for bugs and shielded from/set up to detect any sort of EM transmission (in or out).
