GZ is innocent, until proven guilty. Therefore it doesn’t have to be proven that he was the one yelling. The prosecution would have to prove that it was TM yelling.

Fox reported the Jury wanted to continue working during the dinner break, I don’t see how deputies can serve them while not walking in and out of the Jury room.

Meals are delivered but hardly "served" to them. It isn't like the jurors are deep in discussions while anyone else is in the room.

If it is, and she put it out to create grounds for a mistrial, I'd think that journalistic standards for protection of sources would no longer apply.

I don't think Corey's that stupid. Zimmerman would never be retried, and not only would she lose her job and be sued into oblivion, she'd end up facing prosecution herself.

There is the reality of the present, and hope and faith for the future. They are not mutually exclusive, and I think that sometimes those of us who call them as they see them - based on the reality of the present - discount what can be in the future. I think we should all have Great faith in what humanity can be. I also think, like your comments allude to, that we also have to avoid being delusional about the present.

I've seen genuine racism personally, from both sides, and I have zero doubt we can get past it. I've also been at somewhat different levels of the socioeconomic ladder and strongly think that most of us would agree with one another on issues related to socioeconomic class etc. if we could have an honest and open dialogue. That said, we're not nearly there, and the grandstanding of self-interested politicians does not help.
