I’ve heard the same thing thru other channels:
It’s 5-1 for acquittal, but there’s a single holdout.
But none of us will know until we hear the words, “We find the defendant...”
I am just telling you what the guys said on Fox. Maybe he is just making it up. I have been on juries, and there was never anyone else in the room when we were deliberating. And even if the Attnys had some kind of info, I doubt they would be sharing with his neighbor.
I do believe GZ will be acquitted on both charges.
I've not heard info about this scenario. However, it's a very interesting theory to help explain why only one shot was fired.
I wondered if the cartrage was found to the left or the right of the fight
Somewhere along the way, I heard the shell casing ejected to the right of the scene, supporting the assertion that GZ was on his back, on the ground.
W.....H....A.....T.....
And had that happened, TM would have been charged with assault (and more)....which in and of its self justifies GZ's self defense claim
I posited this hypothetical on another thread with hopes this is something the jury considers.

Yes, it was the so-called “challenge interview” played for the jury. (And so entered into evidence.) A challenge interview is where the police try to break the person’s story. They can lie to them and say things like “Your friend asked for immunity and is going to roll on you. So tell us the whole truth now before you can’t turn back.” They told GZ that the struggle was captured on video so he would break with his version of events and possibly change his story.
Does a guilty man say, “Thank God”? No way.
I’m turning FOX off now as I don’t think I can stomach Mike Takeapee.

You engineers are all alike. I love all of you. Have you ever eaten a Pringles potato chip? My engineer husband developed the process to make them all look alike and fit in the tube that way.
