Yes, it was the so-called “challenge interview” played for the jury. (And so entered into evidence.) A challenge interview is where the police try to break the person’s story. They can lie to them and say things like “Your friend asked for immunity and is going to roll on you. So tell us the whole truth now before you can’t turn back.” They told GZ that the struggle was captured on video so he would break with his version of events and possibly change his story.

Does a guilty man say, “Thank God”? No way.

Every guilty man says Thank God when they find out about Jesus and his gift of salvation.
