Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Yesterday the prosecution provide closing arguments (Summary: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/07/states-closing-argument-two-hours-of-raising-doubt).
Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

This is a good strategy. He's giving the jury "permission" to come back with a Not Guilty verdict. They HAVE to know it's become a racial situation, so psychologically, if any of the jurors are unsure about how the public will perceive them for Not Guilty, this reassures them of how ridiculous these charges are to anyone with half a brain.

If it’s not on CNN, it didn’t happen - at least, to low information voters. And this is why the court of public opinion has convicted Z, while the jury in the courtroom will come to their decision based on actual knowledge.

All of them were, and actually, for all intents and purposes supported the defense. Mr O'Mara is demonstrating that the persecution actually has *NO* case whatsoever, and is doing a masterful job of it.
