Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.

Yesterday the prosecution provide closing arguments (Summary: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/07/states-closing-argument-two-hours-of-raising-doubt).

Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

Hi Darren...further to our brief discussion yesterday...I tore the house up trying to find my copy of Judge Bork’s book “Slouching Toward Gomorrah,” in which I swear he talked about SDS/WU originating in Port Huron. Couldn’t find it, so did some binging and think I may have been thinking of the SDS manifesto referred to as the Port Huron Statement and saw that it was written in Lakeport, MI north of PH.

In any case, these people (SDS/WU) totally radicalized, manipulated the whole race issue and they have been obviously very effective — we are seeing the results of it today.

Also noted that SDS seems to have been strong in Ann Arbor, an area I managed to avoid in my young and naïve days.

Bottom line for me: My young adulthood in Detroit and surrounding area was flippin’ lousy with these leftist race baiters and not a one of them was an ignorant thug — they were attorneys and radio/media types and teachers (by day anyway).

This reminds me of old baldy's comment about T buying skiddles and saying 'he paid for them'! I remember it because that's the first comment I heard tuning into the trial. I thought someone accuse him of not paying for them - I soon realized what an 'dummy' he is.
